All the other dentists I talked to said they would have to put a temporary crown on the tooth. I would have to come back as much as 3 weeks later. This was the way it used to be and the new crown was always too high. I would have to keep going back to get it ground down. Not anymore. Dr Wilson's office may not look slick and fancy on the outside, but the work he performs inside is excellent. And the real bonus is his dental chairs have the old-fashioned rinse & spit bowls. After a long-term illness that prevented me from absorbing my nutrients needless to say my teeth were terribly affected along with my weight. (105lbs) I needed a lot of work done to my teeth which obviously made me sad. I was embarrassed about how bad off my teeth had gotten and worried about how my TMJ was going react to holding my jaw open for long periods of time. I was blessed with a pretty smile and had always seen my dentists regularly. Not at Mortenson's Dr. Smith filled many cavities on my front teeth. After my cavities were filled I had added space between them, 4 SNAGS up by my gum line which makes flossing impossible. One of the cavities that she filled was done so badly it became a large painful inflamed food trap. I had to wait 9 days to be seen and at that appt Dr. Smith confirmed that I had a inflamed food trap but would need to schedule another appt for it to be fixed . Also at this appt I also informed her that I still had the SNAGS and that I did not want Ashley to sand paper them as she had done at my prior appt when I informed them about the snags. Dr. Smith informed me that the only way to repair the snags was for her to redo the fillings. I felt like I could sense an attitude when she said it. I said well I guess I will go through it all again. She did not apologize for anything. They scheduled me for a 90 min appt and I took an 8am so that I could be seen asap. I had to wait another 7 or more days to get back in. When I arrived no other patient's were there and yes I was 10 min late which left 70 min. Dr. Smith had her receptionist tell me that I had to reschedule due to being late. Which wasn't a problem when she was being paid $2,452 The fact that I was in pain, made to wait, my inconvenience and having to redo injections and appointments. Says a lot about her in my opinion Not only is her quality of care poor She does not truly care about her patients She had 70 min to help me with the pain that she caused and turned me away. It wasn't my fought that she had to do a redo but it was her fought that I was having to do a redo. Honestly, I could go on about Mortenson's family dental care at Lawrenceburg, In. The other dentists there did not provide quality service either. BELIEVE ME DONT BE LIKE ME AND REGRET GOING THERE ONCE ITS DONE ITS DONE

From the beginning of the process everyone has been extremely friendly and professional! Cheryl was patient when I wasn't able to get the forms filled out prior to my appointment. Heather was an incredible hygienist, she not only explained everything on my X-rays (that's never happened before!) she also did an incredible job of cleaning my teeth! Dr. Oyler was out of the office, but Dr. Ballard was awesome. She was thorough, making sure I understood her exam process. I've never had a fear of a dentist, but if you do, you will be in great hands at this office! I highly recommend them!
