An inflamed muscle. I pulled something or pushed something wrong during a training run. And now after seeing Rena Bissessar and the people at Vissers Physical Therapy, I feel much better. Expertise, efficiency, humanity -- Vissers is the dream package for PT. Currently, I'm progressing through the care plan, doing the stretches at home, and having a few followups ... but then only for what is necessary. And that's incredible -- past experiences with PT have always been a bit more hit-or-miss and my own comprehension of what needed to be done to get better. And a lot of PT places felt like they weren't really looking to help, they were looking to bill my insurance. Not so with Vissers! What she needed was someone who could help her with the therapy she'd been expecting to do for her new knee, but who would also show her the patience and care she needed as she recovered from the unknowns following the second surgery at the same time. This could have been a real challenge, but the folks at Vissers have been invariably kind and caring. It's been a journey, to say the least -- and having good people beside you at every step is essential. This is what we got at Vissers. Everyone we've interacted with at Vissers has been lovely, but particular praise is due to my mom's individual therapist Rena Bissessar, who has pushed her when she needed pushing, been understanding with her when she needed understanding, and gotten her a long way in an astonishingly short time toward being back on her feet again. Thanks to Ginny and Asha, my hips are so much stronger. Just as important, they taught me exactly what to keep doing at home so I can maintain the progress and keep improving. I'm now continuing pelvic floor physical therapy with Asha, and it has been incredibly helpful (to say the least!). Pelvic floor PT is so much more than I ever realized. I learn something new every session, and I've already noticed real improvements in my day-to-day life. Eddie at the front desk is always friendly and really helpful, and everything runs smoothly when it comes to scheduling and visits. My husband actually started physical therapy at Ability Rehab first, which is how I found them, and I'm so grateful he did. When you've got kids and you need an x-ray done, this is where I suggest. They take my insurance, and the doctors and staff are so respectful and kind to everyone - including the kids. When you've got a kid in pain, it helps to have someone willing to talk to them and let them know what happens next. This trip was for an accident. My youngest had fallen the night before and hurt his ankle. The next day I took him in for x-rays. Shockingly enough he ended up having a fracture and needed a cast put on. Now he's 6, and has to know EVERYTHING that is happening and why. Every person we saw was kind and patient, explained everything to him, and made him feel calm. Side note - the cast work was great! So if you ever find yourself in a bind and need to be seen quickly, check this place out!

Before you enter their office you are greeted with an assistant who takes your temp and you sign a covid 19 doc answering various questions. Once that done you go to the kiosk I and sign yourself in and take a seat. I was maybe sitting for 10 min and was called in. Everyone was super nice from the, front desk, xray tech, to the doctor. The second time I went back was just as great. So happy to have them in the neighborhood.

Now they took less amount that should, will need to drive 1 hour and half back and forth, take she is Going to miss one more day at her school because they didn't do the basic, check the list of exams and count how many Tubes will need. Fla. ssi said they would take 3 months to get him into treatments. We don't have months to wait. The insurance department is not helping. The patient advocate is not helping. We called the ceo to help us fix the problem and get our insurance reinstated because we did what we were told. Now it is like they don't want or don't know how to help us. The SSI is a joke 6 hours on hold. Nobody's helping and the hospital is the one who screwed us. Stay away from Arnold and Never Never Never listen to their advice because they act like it is not their problem and don't help or return your phone calls.
