I am just gonna say it now, I am a total slacker for not reviewing my dentist! I am so sorry,…read morebecause this is indeed a 5-Star dental office. First, Mini-Me had some pretty bad experiences with dentist's in our previous home state of Calif, before a recommendation from friends pointed us in the direction of Dr. Molstad and her wonderful family dental practice. But like most things, things change, like when you move and in our case it was in 2013 to NJ and I knew no one- so it can be the luck of the draw on Dr's and Dentists. Which brings me to Dr McComber's office. From the first phone call to book our appointments, walking in and meeting the front office staff, to our meeting Dr. McComber, I knew we had found our family dentist. From the very beginning Dr. McComber took the time to listen to our Mini-Me and her fears, concerns and difficulties with her previous dentist history and Dr. McComber completely understood. She patiently talks Mini-Me through the visit, step by step, explaining what she is doing and why, how to brush properly and floss, fillings and teeth cleaning. The dental Hygienists are so nice and funny and have great chair side personalities they really make the visit pleasant. Front office staff is pretty great as well and when it comes to insurance and benefit coverage they explain it all and we always leave feeling good about our visit and honestly there isn't any of the "dental appointment dread" when we know it's time for our visit. So, I would say that we definitely got majorly lucky when we found Dr. McComber and her Family dental practice.

They had texted me to confirm the date and time of 6/20 at 10:20AM twice to which I responded confirming. As far as I was concerned this was my appointment time. The day of my appointment I was getting ready to leave when they called to ask if I was still coming for my appointment at 10AM.. to which I told them I thought it was at 10:20AM. She had told me that no, my appointment was at 10AM and she would have to check with the hygienist if they could still see me. During this time I double checked the written communication which did, in fact, say 10:20AM. When she came back on she said they could still see me to which I told her, well yes, seeing as my appointment is at 10:20AM and was confirmed to be so twice by your text confirmation system. She continue to argue that my appointment was for 10AM. I show up at the office and they ask me to come back to fill out paperwork (that I had already done the night before when their system sent it to me) and I had told her that they must have messed up because my appointment was at 10:20AM and proceeded to try to show her the texts. She did not want to see the texts and argued with me that my appointment was for 10AM and they had tried to call me the day before to confirm and let me know that they had to bump me up in the schedule. They had only called me ONCE and never said anything about changing my appointment time in the voicemail. I never once received an apology and was only met with snarky attitude so I told them to cancel my appointment and left. The level of unprofessionalism and disrespect to a FIRST TIME patient was very distasteful and I would never recommend them based on that alone. My advice to them is to get organized and improve upon their bedside manner with patients. Two stars only because I never saw a dentist and cannot speak to their expertise or skill.

From the start, Dr. Sarah was confident, calm, and reassuring. For the first time, I wasn't worried they would fall out. When it came time for the permanent veneers, we were unsure about the color at first, but Dr. Sarah said to try them in and reassured me we could redo them if needed. She was right--they were a perfect match. She even scheduled a follow-up to make sure I was completely happy. Dr. Sarah and her assistant were patient, meticulous, and truly passionate about their work. After years of stress over this process, I finally feel at ease knowing my smile is in expert hands, and I'm so grateful I found Brielle Dentistry.

I went there for an emergency root canal, which went well, although I had to wait in the chair doing nothing for 45 minutes, before they finally started working on me, consequently making me late for work. Everyone was very nice and apologetic, but that was a bad first impression for me. They pushed the comprehensive dental exam for a later date, which I did get. They found many many issues with my teeth and gums, which really surprised me, as I practice excellent oral hygiene every day. Long story short - I moved to another state not long after this and found a dentist here, who did the exact same exam - all the bite-wing and panoramic x-rays, photos, physical exam, etc., and found only a tiny fraction of what Brielle "found." For example - Brielle told me I needed to get 2 back teeth extracted. I knew of one tooth, given what was going on, but the other tooth they wanted to extract turned out to be perfectly healthy and fine, with absolutely no need to extract, per my current dentist. Brielle also pointed out other work I needed to get done - another example: deep scaling - while the dentist I go to now found no issues whatsoever with my gums. And there were others. Needless to say, I would never to back to them.
