I finally had a roofing specialist come and confirm that DJ placed an inadequate silicone seal over a repaired spot and their seal failed. He also suggested practical ways to manage costs--like having me purchase certain furnishings--without compromising the quality or look I wanted thus providing a finished product well below every other quote I was provided by others. Admittedly the project was unique as a hidden speakeasy, but he approached it as something fun and unique. In the end, I can't imagine any of the other builders delivering the same level of craftsmanship and commitment to the original vision that Richard did.
