I had overlooked Robert Burns because it looked like any other small liquor store that normally has your regular everyday spirits. They've come through with everything from an entire case of Sofia Blanc de Blanc delivered all the way to Hollywood (I could only wish it was all going in-my-belly, but sadly no) to limited edition liquors that save my lazy gift-giving ass in a mere five minutes. Stopped in for the first time tonight for a couple of single malts. Got a great deal on Bowmore 12 and Port Dundas 12. This is a family shop. I talked to grandfather and grandson about the different offerings of single malts they had and there are many! I greatly appreciate the time both took in helping me make a selection I was happy with. Currently enjoying the Dundas 12 which is actually a single grain, delicious! The owner reached out to me and explained that the bottle of Louis XIII on the top shelf is a dummy buttle, hence the reason why the liquor appears darker than normal. And for all ya'll that think I'm just being gullible, I googled it and dummy bottles do exist, and the fake liquor inside them all look just as dark as the one I saw at Robert Burns. Today after processing my transaction, a $305.00 transaction, they decided to cancel my order due to lack of drivers. They further advised I will not receive my funds back for 5 days.
