We love our neighborhood liquor store. Everyone who works here is friendly and knowledgeable. All items we have purchased are priced the same (or better) when compared to other big chains, so why not support a local business? There is also a very wide range of products whether it be vintage wine, affordable to top shelf tequila, and a great selection of whiskey and bourbon. read more

I love whisky and have gone on the hunt all over LA even down to HI Times and K and L for interesting and rare spirits at reasonable prices. I had overlooked Robert Burns because it looked like any other small liquor store that normally has your regular everyday spirits. I stopped in one day and was absolutely amazed at the selection and the knowledgeable staff especially the owner Shahe. For the past few years he has either stocked or ordered all I could ever desire. Yamasaki 18, Wellers, many (too many) Kavalan's and many more. They have a great wine selection as well so they are now the only place I go. read more

Easy online order & easy delivery, in fact our order came within 45 minutes! Thank you so much for being open during this difficult time for all of us. I'm happy to support this business & will be our go to for adult beverages & beyond. Cheers! read more

I recommend this place 100%. Great selections better than the grocery and they are staying open while being cautious during this tough time. Get your wine here instead of Ralph's or Bristol. Support the mom and pop stores first. read more

This place is the ideal little nook for those instances where you a) forgot to get a gift for that good friend who's birthday party is oh - TONIGHT b) are looking for that rare bottle of wine that might impress even the most discerning wino c) are depressed and lonely and need a huge wine/cheese/cracker/chocolate basket to gorge on while you watch reruns of Golden GIrls on at 2am. Or wait, is that just me? Either way, I can't count the times I've stopped here for a last minute purchase, or even a gift for an across-town thank you (cause they have messenger delivery too!). They've come through with everything from an entire case of Sofia Blanc de Blanc delivered all the way to Hollywood (I could only wish it was all going in-my-belly, but sadly no) to limited edition liquors that save my lazy gift-giving ass in a mere five minutes. More importantly, the staff is always willing to help, or just have a friendly chat as you choose your libation. I have no idea who Robert Burns actually is, but I'd like to thank him for making sure my liver, and the livers of all my friends, continue to work hard daily! read more

They have a great selection of wines and hard liquors (every brand of scotch, vodka, tequila, etc.) at reasonable prices. The owners of this place are super sweet and they know their stuff. read more

This was the closest liquor store to my friends house, and we were running low on elixers by halftime of the Super Bowl. A quick jaunt over and we had everything we needed... actually more than we needed. We love this family run business and have been shopping here for years. The BEST place in town for good prices, upscale champagnes, good beer, liquors, etc. The Owner, Shahay, feels like family to us after shopping there for 17 years. Whether it's a hard to find case of port you fell in love with in wine country or a cold bottle of something special, this is the place to go. The knowledgeable and friendly Owner will make you a hero with his wine and liquor selections for any occasion. I support small businesses and hope you do as well. Toni read more

In a panic yesterday, I called the store at 5:25PM, hoping to get a bottle of Patron to a potential client who was leaving the office at 6. I got a call from my client at 6:05 thanking me for the gesture, and we landed the account this morning. AMAZING I can't thank you guys enough! read more

Really grateful to these guys for helping me get a case of champagne delivered. I don't live anywhere near BH/CC and needed to get something next day for a celebration. I called the shop and they were able to help me get the champagne selected that fit my budget. They chilled overnight and delivered timely the next morning. So relieved to have found a reliable/customer oriented place to assist. Prices in-line for the type of store and service. read more

I love what we affectionately call it - Bob Burns...They're open pretty late, esp. for this neighborhood and they're always friendly...Their wine selection is excellent. The owner has fantastic recommends and has a vast knowledge base. Not that we drink much...he he, but every single thing he's recommended has been great. They recently opened up a back section with even more to choose from too. The outside might be a little tired but this place is a gem. Truly your neighborhood joint with awesome vino (and booze!)... read more

Stopped in for the first time tonight for a couple of single malts. Got a great deal on Bowmore 12 and Port Dundas 12. This is a family shop. I talked to grandfather and grandson about the different offerings of single malts they had and there are many! I greatly appreciate the time both took in helping me make a selection I was happy with. Currently enjoying the Dundas 12 which is actually a single grain, delicious! I'll end this review with a poem from the great Scotsman Robert Burns, no doubt this establishment's namesake: O were my love yon Lilac fair, Wi' purple blossoms to the Spring, And I, a bird to shelter there, When wearied on my little wing! How I wad mourn when it was torn By Autumn wild, and Winter rude! But I wad sing on wanton wing, When youthfu' May its bloom renew'd. read more

I needed some fine Italian wine delivered today as a special gift. I called a half dozen other places in Beverly Hills and LA and they couldn't deliver today, the cut off time for today's deliveries was past for all of them. But the fantastic staff at Robert Burns Wines were happy to deliver today, complete with gift wrapping and a card, and provided an incredible service helping me to choose the perfect wine for a special gift. Feeling so grateful. The man who helped was really patient as I fretted over every detail of this gift, and ensured that the order was right. This is my first wine order with them and I am beyond impressed. Thanks so much!!!!! read more

This is a great little liquor store. They have great selection for their size and the guy that works there is very knowledgeable. While the selection is limited, what the do carry is top notch. They also have great gift ideas, things like commemorative bottles and gift sets that are a great value...I did a lot of my Christmas shopping here (shhh) read more

This is absolutely the best specialty shop in the neighborhood! The team at Robert Burns always has the best recommendations and have supplied me with the best gifts I've ever geven, other than an Hermes scarf! Whether stopping in at the last minute for a hard-to-find Russian vodka or ordering cases of champagne with only 24hrs notice, Robert Burns never fails to disappoint. I have lived in Los Angeles for 20 years and Robert Burns Fine Wine and Liquor store is my favorite and has always been my go to since I found them years ago. There are a lot of reasons for this! First off they have the best prices of any store like them within 20 miles. They are always priced lower than the big chain liquor stores or even the grocery stores. The customer service at this business is phenomenal and they are always very knowledgeable about their products. They go above and beyond to make sure your happy with your purchase. Also they have same day delivery for the best price I have ever found in West LA and on top of that they deliver much later at night than any other store I can think of. And finally the main reason I love this store so much and what really keeps me coming back is they have some of the hardest to find niche top shelf rare liquors from all around the world I have been unable to find anywhere else in Southern California period. Their selection is truly amazing when it comes to hard to find top shelf liquors or liqueurs you may be looking for. Also they always have the latest new products before anyone else. When you stop by ask for Lena she is your go to person for anything you may be looking for. So next time your in the area whether you live here, or are visiting or you just need fast reliable delivery at a reasonable price don't hesitate to stop by or call and place an order as you will surely not be disappointed. read more

The owner reached out to me and explained that the bottle of Louis XIII on the top shelf is a dummy buttle, hence the reason why the liquor appears darker than normal. And for all ya'll that think I'm just being gullible, I googled it and dummy bottles do exist, and the fake liquor inside them all look just as dark as the one I saw at Robert Burns. So there you have it. +1 Star. read more

I've made a couple of orders to Robert Burns using Eat24. They've been late a few times, which is ok considering home delivery. Today after processing my transaction, a $305.00 transaction, they decided to cancel my order due to lack of drivers. They further advised I will not receive my funds back for 5 days. Huge inconvenience, I won't order here again. This has happened to a few others I know. read more

I love this store... My local family owned business that always caters to my thirst for good wines and hard to find liquor!
