The service technician at discount tire was responsive to making sure all my tires were properly inflated and took the time to explain how the tire sensors work and when they typically malfunction, I am grateful for his assistance with a 500 mile trip ahead of me. He provided piece of mind that I did not have a leak in one of my tires and that it was safe to drive.

I had need to replace a tire on the wife's car due to a major pot hole which ruined one of the tires and so visited the discount tire store in Benton, AR. Not only did the pothole take out the tire, but cracked the wheel as well. I bought a replacement wheel and needed a new tire for the replacement wheel. I also needed to replace the TPMS sensors on all four wheels as they were no longer working. They decided that one of the three undamaged tires mandated replacement due to excess wear on the outer edge and that they wouldn't replace the TPMS sensor for that tire without replacing the tire too. I told them that I wasn't going to pay for an unneeded tire and would take my business elsewhere. I drove to another local tire store and got all of the work done, minus the extra tire extortion fee. Local store also agreed that there was no need to replace the tire discount tire had deemed bad. I don't take kindly to extortion business tactics. I had been a long time discount tire customer up until this, but will never set foot inside another of their stores going forward! You can also bet that I will be sharing my experience with all within my orbit. Unless you just have money in abundance, avoid this store. This is the second time at this store I've been told what I "will" pay for vs what I was willing to pay.

I'm not sure what ape they have back there cranking down the lugs to 400psi or what Nascar pitboy wanna-be who doesn't know how to start the lug with his hand, but they clearly don't care. Sure they'll pay to have it fixed, but Id rather not have to spend 1-3 days having work done on a vehicle every time I go in with a flat or rotation. Unprofessional, untrained. A copy paste reply isn't going to help, you had more than 3 chances to get the issue straightened out with your employees and management. I will not be back regardless. This is a bad business.

I only got an update when I called them at 6:10pm. They said the mechanic just got under my car. I told them, "okay, I will walk back over." They called back a couple minutes later and said "they were able to start it, but not finish it. So do you want to leave it overnight with us?" I said, "haha, no, because I need to get home... so if you guys can just put the car parts back and then I will bring it back tomorrow... that would be great. They said "okay." I get back there and said I was there to pick up my car and "it was my mistake to not take that 2pm appointment, so I want to set up an appointment for tomorrow." Another guy walked in and said, "oh, your car isn't drivable. Did Sean not tell you?" I said, "No, the only time I got an update was when *I* called you." He said, "oh, yeah, the whole shifting cable needs to be replaced and we can't even call about that until Monday because it's a dealership part." First of all, I don't usually go to this mechanic because the last time I was there (which was over 5 years ago) they were super condescending to me and I left there in tears. I only came back here because it was the closest mechanic to me that was open on a Saturday. Secondly, I told them I had an appointment to replace my front brakes, and they nicely offered me a sale on their brakes, which I was going to take since the only thing I came in for was a simple bushing replacement. The guy who I dropped my car off with was nice and is the only reason this isn't a 1 star rating. Third, I don't know how mechanic hours work, but why start a bumper to bumper inspection if you can't finish the job? Because I drove the car there just fine, they MADE IT not driveable. So because of them, I had to walk home because the only person who could help me was in Rome at the time and I wasn't going to take an Uber because I need to save up all the money I can in order to afford this mechanic bill that I expect is going to cost around $500 based on a quick google search on how much a shifting cable costs, not to mention, labor... I won't return to Firestone again. I can see why they have such a low rating on here. Should have listened to by gut and not gone back. A friend of mine who works security at the mall also said Firestone will keep the security vehicle at the garage for over a week sometimes, and they need that security vehicle for their job. The mechanic, Sean, personally called to apologize to me, and they only charged me for the inspection, considering the part that needed to be replaced was a recalled part by the manufacturer.

My account was never recovered, so we stopped going and switched to Costco and the Sam's Club in Little Rock. After almost a year, we finally returned to the Conway location. While scanning our items, the store's main manager, Kevin, recognized us. He mentioned he hadn't seen us in a while and asked what had happened. He even remembered our account issue! After explaining everything, he sincerely apologized, said he'd look into it, and comped our membership for a year! That's leadership and customer service! Now I can come back every weekend.
