I had ordered 4 new tires over the phone the day before and contacting my credit card company of…read morethe amount since it was a high purchase with the quote given to me on the phone, and I had asked the total price with taxes included, balancing, mounting, and was given a certain quote. I had told the person on the phone that I would be sending my credit card with my husband to pay, but NOT ONCE did they tell me there was an extra 3% surcharge if paid with a credit card; they mounted the tires, put them on my car, and when done than they decide to tell my husband of the 3% surcharge that was like $18.00 more added on if he swiped my card, but what was he supposed to do just drive off, that's theft or have them remove my tires?? My husband had went inside and even repeated the quote back to them before the tires were mounted, and NOT ONCE was anything said about a surcharge or asked how he would be paying for them. They didn't even have a sign placed in a visible location that stated the surcharge; it was located on a bulletin board as you entered the garage area where customers aren't allowed. Now how is that even legal? I called back up there after my husband informed me of the situation once he was back home. I tried to explain to them that I WAS NOT informed about the surge charge beforehand and I wasn't expecting to pay that extra $18.00, I got met with them NOT caring and rudeness to the point I told them I'll NEVER do business with them again! Now, if they had informed me that they charged the surcharge on Credit cards I could have made a choice if I wanted to finish the transaction on the phone, but they took that from me by forcing my husband's hand to have to swipe my card after the service because he didn't have the cash to give or a check to write and that is just Bad business ethics and just plain wrong!! ERR!

Even if we could, we would still have to drive somewhere else to have someone fix it on their schedule. On Call quickly sent a repair truck and they were able to jack up the van, remove the tire, repair it and put it back on in a matter of minutes right there in our parking lot. Very convenient.

I want to be as fair as I can be with my review, I don't give a 1 star lightly, but in light of…read morespending over 500.00 on a fix that never happened and as you can see, my check engine light is STILL on, I think 1 star is fair. So when I took my VW in and it was looked at, I was told a spark plug and coil had to be replaced because of carbon build up, ok....autozone checked the code for me and it said nothing about that area, but I said hey they should know better then me right? I'm just a single women who doesn't know that much about cars. So I gave them ALL of my savings I had spent 4 months saving up and THOUGHT I got the issue fixed. Literally the next day, same issue is still happening, car can't idle without check engine light blinking and coming on, it sputters when it's warming up. Autozone had said the code showed the mass air flow valve was faulty, this place NEVER ONCE fixed that issue, they in fact ignored it all together and did what they wanted. At this point, they let me come back and they do the testing for free, and tell me we can replace everything again incase the parts were bad, again they do this for free, BUT here's the kicker. They never actually did another fix and here's how I know they lied to me. My carfax shows EVERY SINGLE TIME I have work done on it, no matter how small, it's on there automatically. My carfax shows the first "fix", but it doesn't show anything else ever being done to it. Hines Service Center, not only didn't fix my issue, they LIED to my face about fixing it a second time, AND they couldn't even give me paperwork on the second "fix" either. In short, I am out 550.00, nothing got fixed, they scammed me because i'm a woman and I can not recommend this place if you are a female driver, thank you.

They repaired my vehicle just fine. A friend volunteered to run the diagnostics with his code…read morereader, so I knew what the problem was when I took it in. Upon check out, they gave me a 4-5 page list of services and repairs the vehicle needed. Okay, I appreciated the inspection because there were a couple issues I wasn't aware of. I was pleased enough with the service that we took a second vehicle in, this time with no check-engine light on. They described the repairs they needed to make, which tracked with what we knew. We authorized them and paid. We got the vehicle home with zero problems. The next day, we had the exact same problems we asked them to repair. It was almost as if they did just enough to make sure we could get it home, so we would bring it back in for further repairs. I trusted the AAA rating, never bothering to look at Yelp. Never again. What we experienced is a pattern that you can see from the other low ratings. The AAA rating means nothing. If you don't know anything about statistics, the customer surveys AAA conducts are neither reliable nor valid because they are not anonymous: https://autoleap.com/blog/how-to-get-your-auto-repair-shop-aaa-approved/.
