Their saw must have broken before it cut through all the way so they didn't get it, but I didn't have any idea why my car was making a loud roaring noise until I started it. I took it to somewhere and they told me what the problem was and they recommended Riley's for the welding job. I decided to have them fix my windshield pump, too. They were very friendly and offered a good labor price. They also noticed that the car was leaking coolant. I knew it was as it would leak out every 2 years or so but no one could find a leak and it was obviously very slow. Riley's noticed it had leaked the size of a half dollar while it was there, so I decided to have them fix that too. They let me buy the timing belt kit on the internet to save some money. Instead of going back to pick up the car I was thrown into the hospital for almost two weeks with my own bowel obstruction. Riley's was very nice about waiting for me to get out, recover and finally pick up my car. Every thing was fixed properly and they were very patient and competent. The reason I did not give 5 stars is that the car was very dirty when I picked it up (finally). I know my car has no other issues so I am not foreseeing any problems with the water pump. I know this because I had my car towed to Honda the day after the repairs because it wouldn't start. It turned out to be only a bad battery which was unrelated to Riley's repairs and Auto Zone replaced that for free because it was under warranty. It scared me, though because I had just had those repairs made. I contacted Riley's when I had it towed to Honda and they assured me that they would stand behind their work. Well, so far, they don't have to as Honda had gone over it with a "fine-toothed" comb to see why it wouldn't start, etc. Riley's was not the most professional of businesses but I really trust them to do great work and be reasonably priced and friendly. I have faith that I can bring my car to them with any future repairs that may be needed.

They also said I needed front brakes and that would be $1000. The gas tank has nothing to do with the sensor and does not need to be removed to replace the sensor. Big time ripoff here. The seam of the catalytic converter was cracked and I was hoping for a cheap fix, but realistically my truck probably needs a new Y-pipe with both cats. I chose Marty's Muffler based on some good Yelp reviews. I called Marty to get an opinion over the phone and he told me they would be glad to take a look at my issue to see if welding it was an option. I showed up about 30 minutes later. They had me pull my truck in the shop, lifted it up and immediately noticed the coffee can shaped catalytic converter top seam was cracked all the way around. I asked about a replacement converter. They offered to try welding the seam on the converter for 25 bucks! Wait a minute... Most shops won't even look at you for under 50 bucks let alone fix anything! They were able to weld all the way around the converter while it was in place and now it sounds brand new. I gladly offered to pay double for the repair but Marty politely refused my offer and explained that's just how they do business and they never charge for looking at people's vehicles or for estimates. Please go here for all your exhaust and muffler work to help support these guys. It's not often I fell blessed to do business somewhere but I did today. We need this shop around for many more years!

Both visits were fast and the right price. If I had known of this place before I bought my exhaust I would of had him build me a custom one. Will definitely get all my exhaust business until I move.
