For reference, I drive a 2022 Honda civic with less than 40k miles on it, so my car is very well taken care of. If I take it to the dealership it typically costs me about $75 for an oil change. I was charged $90 here and they forgot to turn off the check light as well, so I had to go back inside to request they turn it off. I felt like I was taken advantage of here, they were not transparent with their prices, and did not even fully complete the job. I was very disappointed as the service did not match the almost five start review here.

The dealership found the issue was the air filter box was not secured properly, as Take 5 took it out to offer a replacement during the oil change. "verified customers concerns found fuel system lean codes b1 and 2 as well as misfire across all cylinders isolated fault to air filter box not resecured down properly allowing un metered air into system causing customers stated concerns installed new filter verified air box installed properly test drove vehicle conditions no longer present" Take 5 leadership is refusing to cover the bill from the dealership caused by their inadequate technicians. Went in for a car inspection. That went well, and they made some maintenance recommendations. When…read moreI got back in my car to leave, I couldn't turn on the AC, or lower the windows or work the sunroof. Don't know if the breaker controlling those got jostled or what during the inspection, but I alerted the service writer, Sabrina, to the issue, who immediately reported it to the service manager. I explained that all of these things were working when I brought my car in, and how very uncomfortable it made me to have this problem after a mere inspection. They wheeled it right back to the shop, and resolved the problem either via a reset or securing something that was knocked loose. Appears to have been just an accident on the part of the tech. I would suggest testing the windows and AC anytime they work on or test electrical systems...and as consumers, we should always test at least those basics before we pull away. As a woman who has worked in car sales, and is also a consumer, I understand how it makes us feel like we have "sucker" stamped across our foreheads when the car must go in the shop...and I felt heard when I said as much to the service manager. He was respectful. They handled this well, and I would consider them for future work or when I am again in the market for a vehicle. I sat in the waiting area, which was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Staff were friendly. I will also give major kudos to Sabrina. She was knowledgeable and kind, which I greatly appreciate!

The service manager is very persistent on you getting things fixed right then. On one occasions he d had the nerve to ask me ," Can you tell me why you can't have this service done?" I informed him "money that's why". He then told me we can finance that for you. I informed him no thanks, when I get the money I'll have it done. If that's the case, I could use my own credit card. Then I find out , unlike other dealerships Joe Pecheles charges an extra fee to use your credit card.
