They ran my card for my purchase..money came out of my acct. Said card was declined..didn't get money back or anything.. just shoulders shrugged.. and told me they couldn't do anything..let me tell ya pissed beyond words.. so pretty much they got me for my money and mine was never returned !! read more

This is a perfectly good gas station and mini mart, located right off the highway, where the pumps worked great and there was ice. The only weird thing was - no carbonated (seltzer) water? All they had was plain water or sodas/Gatorate etc. I wasn't the only person in there who was looking for some either, so I know I wasn't being some effete Yankee. read more

Don't go during evening hours because all the competent employees who care are not on duty. I have been a customer since the store opened and am on a first name basis with several employeeS on the day shift. On 6/12/23 l went in at 8:15pm to buy grizzly straight pouches. There were 3 cashiers behind the two registers with one sitting on the floor eating a hot dog. When I asked for my order one cashier turned around and says we don't carry that! Long story shortened I convinced them they should actually do their jobs and look and what do you know they had it! Hot dog eater never stopped eating or got up but she was most righteous and argumentative that I was the AH because I expected them to do their job. No way to contact higher ups to complain. Bottom line: Night time cashiers are surly and lazy. read more

This is a nice clean facility. I went here to purchase gasoline. The gasoline station is a large area. I do recommend stopping here on your to the outer banks. There isn't much else to state since I did not eat here. read more

Stopped at the New Dixie with our diesel motorhome. Filled up the tank with $185 of diesel. Also wanted air for a tire on our car in tow. Put money in the machine and nothing. Cashier could not return my money or help me in any way she said. We left and about a mile or 2 down the road our motorhome could barely climb the slightest incline. I was lucky to get to 45 mph. There was water & other contaminants in the diesel fuel. Had to get diesel additive and have a repair shop replace the fuel filters! Will never stop here again!!! read more

this is a very nice, clean facility however I will NOT be buying gas there again. The pump I was operating would only pump for about 2 seconds at a time. When I spoke to the cashier throught the very poor speaker system I was told the pump was out of service, but "the boss won't let them bag the pump" to tell customers it is out of order. WHAT!? She was very nice and evern came out to the pump to speak with me. This makes NO SENSE at all. How many folks did tis happen to that day?! They only thing I cans guess it that there must be paperwork indicating how often a pump is out of service and the terrible boss is cheating the system by not being truthful. read more
