As a parent of three kids, I can honestly say this has been the best dental experience we've ever…read morehad. From the moment we walk in, the staff is so warm, patient, and genuinely kid-friendly. They know exactly how to put children at ease -- whether it's my teenager, my middle-schooler, or my little one who can be nervous at new places. The office is spotless, beautifully maintained, and modern. Everything feels fresh and inviting, which makes visits stress-free for both kids and parents. What I appreciate most is how much the entire team truly cares. They don't just treat teeth -- they treat kids with kindness and compassion. Whether it's a routine check-up or an unexpected dental issue, they go above and beyond to be there when you need them. You can tell their top priority is the health and comfort of their patients. After years visiting with all three of my kids, I can confidently say Alafaya Pediatric Dentistry sets the bar for professionalism and genuine care. I can't recommend them highly enough to any parent looking for a dentist who really treats your children like family.

He is so personable and the staff is organized and super friendly. She loves to go there because he rants and raves how beautiful her teeth are and how well she takes care of them. He tells her she is a perfect patient with no cavities and stellar gums! She and he have an amazing bond, so much so she herself is considering pediatric dentistry as a career. He provides memorable visits and a positive environment! Most definitely a perfect pediatric dentist for your child! Insurances are accepted. ************************************* (Just read some of the negative reviews below mine... my review is NOT fake and as far as insurance goes; they always check your insurance before you make your appointment and before you walk in to get the service done. Pediatric dentistry is a specialty business catered to children. In New York I used to take my daughter to a pediatric dentist in Westchester County and she didn't accept ANY dental insurance. i had to pay cash and in full before I even placed my daughter in the dental chair! And at that time my daughter was about 18 months. I still have the pictures. Every dental office is different. As a parent, you need to call your insurance or verify the doctors you use are covered through your insurance. You can not blame the office for something you, yourself are responsible for! I check to see if he is still on my dental insurance every year before I accept, pay or enroll for the insurance. That's your responsibility as an adult. You are also responsible for your adolescent's teeth until they are able to care for them properly themselves! You can't feed your toddler sweet juices, gummy snacks, sweet treats and send them off to bed not brushing or flossing their teeth for them just because they have baby teeth! You risk the adult teeth below without giving them a chance to survive before their arrival! So when you blame the dentist for your lack of care for your child's teeth, don't get angry when they inform you they need dental surgery or a root canal! That's on you! You are the parent. The nerve of you to tell people our 5 star reviews are fake! Shame on you for saying such a thing! I am as real as it gets! And I am a respected Elite reviewer for Yelp)

However, the dentist told me she only had one cavity and suggested taking the tooth out instead of fixing it, which didn't make sense to me. As a parent, I felt uncomfortable with that plan and decided to get a second opinion the same day. The new dentist took fresh X-rays and confirmed that my daughter actually had three cavities -- the same number found by her previous dentist -- and even discovered one big one that needed to be treated right away. This second dentist fixed all three cavities immediately and was very caring and professional. I do not recommend this office based on our experience. The diagnosis and treatment plan here were utterly different from those of the other two dentists, and I'm glad I trusted my instincts and went elsewhere. I wish I could publish the X-ray of my daughter, but I will not.
