Staff is knowledgeable and willing to help. Cannot find a better place. John can fix most anything, Rob at the counter get you in and out fast. And nugget knows his drums. this is a family business, and they do treat you like family read more

Be careful here. They do not take returns. Over selling. Staff does not seem to care either. Likely they don't want to lose their small commission. Go to a larger place that cares about their reputation. read more

I bought a mighty air wireless stereo amp for guitar and bass for $189. My son did not care for the sound. He used it once and I had the receipt. They would not allow me to return the item. They said there was a factory warranty. I explained that there wasn't anything wrong with it. It just wasn't the correct amp that my son wanted. They would not accept it. I will find another business that would at least offer in store credit and stand by their products. read more

I have been to this store twice. I brought in a used guitar and the person there helped straighten out the neck. I honestly think he charged me a few dollars. He let my daughter grab a bunch of guitar picks for less than a dollar. So nice. A few months later I went back and bought a pretty blue acoustic guitar and ukulele. I thought they were very nice. The person helped pack my car as well. Would go back. read more

I have been playing piano for well over 20 years and this store is very close to my house. My daughter is three now so I wanted to introduce her to a music store and see if any instruments are of interest. I walk in and happily introduce myself and let them know my intention. First I barely get a grunt from the guy working there. Interesting as I am the only one in the store. Then the only words said to me was to correct her for touching a guitar. I would have even agreed with him since it was a little high up but such an attitude in this place. Then I approach another guy to buy a small guitar for my daughter and appearance of an attitude from this guy too. So in summary. Having a 3 year old in the neighborhood with a father that plays an an instrument and has no intent of moving which means my daughter will be through high school in the area - I will now never step foot in this place ever again. I guess they have plenty of customers and could careless less to be decent to someone in the local community that could have been a very long term customer. Already located another store that is about 18 miles further and I will be happily driving there now and if they are a decent will provide lots of loyalty there. Have a great day. Daughter needed drum sticks ASAP for performance. Took a quick trip here and man behind counter found what I needed quickly. Very friendly and personable. Glad they were open and close. read more

If there was an option to give less than one star I would. They are run in such shoddy fashion that they do not even know their own schedule. Rude staff, being passed among 3 people to get one answer on the phone which turns out is the wrong answer...suffice it to say I would heartily recommend saving your money and finding a reputable and professional establishment. Their "cash only" tax evasion scheme for lessons alone should have been a red flag. Lesson learned. read more

But all in all it's still way better than some of the other stores that you could find yourself shopping in. Now I gotto go, I got a ton of Kohl's Cash burning a hole in my pocket.
