Awful service. I have about 100 of my dad's baseball cards from the 1930's including Babe Ruth and…read moreTy Cobb and others. Also lots of other bubble gum cards from the era like Dick Tracey, Horrors of War and others. Talked to a coordinator from REA and got hundreds of cards pics to him and he ignores me for a month. I call, I text and even if he's not interested, a firm like this should at least respond to a customer. Why would anyone want to list with this group if they can't even return a text or voice mail for over a month? He must be a busy guy as a baseball card consignment coordinator. I am so disappointed and they clearly don't hire people that have a good business acumen. Try somewhere else or go up the management chain here to see if someone else knows what's going on. That would be my advice.

I have bought an arrangement before and it was absolutely gorgeous, reasonably priced and made with care. I also regularly shop for comic books here as he gets all of the new releases every week and is very good with getting anything you'd like if he doesn't have it in stock. The shop is quaint, unique and very homely. It's a great place to go for your flowers, house and geeky needs. There is nowhere around here like it with their wide range of products and pleasant attitudes.

I recently contacted Greenway Florist and established a monthly delivery of fresh flowers as a…read moreChristmas gift to my mother-in-law. Preferring to support a local independent business rather than the FTD service model, I gave them a price, a general idea of what I wanted, and a great deal of latitude in putting together an appropriate arrangement. The employee who assisted me was very helpful, courteous, and professional. Unfortunately, the arrangement did not appear to be worth the price I agreed to pay. I presumed there may have been some kind of mistake and contacted the owner. I was disappointed when her initial and immediate reaction was a defensive posture, but hoped that if I sent her a photo of the arrangement she might see things a little differently. She did not. She again defended the value of the arrangement. I set to task confirming my instincts with actual data by creating and emailing her a spreadsheet with a breakdown of each stem in the arrangement, the wholesale price of the arrangement, and based on the percentage markup of a comparable arrangement with FTD, what I felt was a fair price for the flowers. Rather than look at the spreadsheet I had spent considerable time compiling and actually responding to it directly, Michelle, the proprietor, lost her shit and started putting words in my mouth. But they were absolute nonsense. She said I was telling her she had a "shady business" which is not true and absolutely ridiculous. What I told her was that she was overpriced. If you're more expensive (and by a large degree) than FTD, you're too fricking expensive. She told me I was "extremely offensive," when in fact, I'd put considerable effort into confirming my general suspicion that I'd been overcharged and was never anything but polite in my communications with her. You don't need to take my word for it. I have copied links below to both the chain of communication, except the initial very brief phone conversation in which Michelle was also quite bristly, and the spreadsheet I compiled to calculate a reasonable estimate of value of the services rendered. If you are looking for a florist in the Hacketstown area you'd do better to contact Calico Country Flowers on Willow Grove Street. I had not asked my mother-in-law for a recommendation before ordering as I wanted it to be a surprise, but have since learned that she has used them in the past and speaks very highly of them.
