This is really a "hidden gem", pun intended.

I wanted something very specific and was looking for someone who could deliver my vision back to me. We have visited other jewelers in the Diamond District, so I had a pretty good idea what's out there. From the very start Max and Irina stood out from the rest. Irina is someone who really takes her time to understand your needs and your wants. There is no gimmicks when it comes to pricing, she is very straight forward and willing to work with your budget. The owners name is sam nakat. he is flat out a thief. he will tell you are receiving one thing and…read moreyou will certainly receive another. I purchased an engagement ring from him and after I purchased the diamond engagement ring I realized that the diamond he said was a .75 carat and vs1 quality was actually a .58 carat and of a si2 quality. after contacting him he denied he did anything. he said someone else swapped the stone. which is not possible for a multitude of reasons one being that you can't place a smaller stone in a setting made for a larger stone. this has been verified by many experts. I contacted the bbb and consumer affairs and he keeps playing stupid. the next step is to sue him. so if you want to save this kind of heartache avoid sam nakat or any of his associates in this underhanded place. he tells me the stone was swapped but then can offer me a dollar amount over the phone without seeing the ring. he clearly knows what he did and now he is trying to do damage control but is too much of underhanded thief to give back the money in full. I met him thru my fiance and he was a supposed friend of the family and he still cheated me. so imagine what he would do to a complete stranger. oh yeah and if he offers you a cash price say no. pay the sales tax so you have some proof when you eventually have to sue him. assuming you still use him after this review. SAM NAKAT IF YOU READ THIS KNOW YOU HAD YOUR CHANCE TO MAKE THIS RIGHT AND I WILL GIVE YOU A BAD REVIEW ON EVERY WEBSITE I CAN THINK OF. HAVE A NICE DAY YOU THIEF.

I have used him several times from resizing a ring and fixing jewelry. Recently, I went in to see him to ask if he could find me a piece that was exactly like one that I gave my mom years ago that I wanted to have made since she passed away. I showed Mario a picture of what I wanted and he made me a replica of what I wanted. It took him about 2 days to make me the piece of jewelry. I could not be happier with the piece that he made for me - I wear it every day. Golden Touch is the place to go if you need any thing fixed or if you are looking for a caring trust worthy jewelry store. Thank you Mario!

I'm extremely picky and couldn't make up my mind. John was so patient with me and walked me through every step of the way. He showed me 4-5 different stones that were all beautiful! I couldn't make up my mind so he educated me about the differences of each stone. After showing him pictures of the ring she likes, John assured me that the ring would like identical... and it did! Unbelievable job. Buying a ring is quite possibly the most stressful thing a guy has to do but John made this such an easier process. After selecting my stone, John provided me with a photo rendition of how the platinum ring would be molded. Very professional. The final product was a masterpiece. My fiance wanted a tiffany-style solitaire ring with 6 prongs and a round stone... and I got exactly that from John Anthony Jewelers. You can't tell the difference. Best of all, I paid about half the price of what Tiffany wanted! Also want to note that since I had planned a destination proposal in Jamaica, this was all time-sensitive and of course, John delivered the final product to me with plenty of time to spare. She was surprised beyond belief when I showed up in Jamaica! She couldn't stop staring at her ring! LOL. You can't go wrong with John Anthony Jewelers. I can't recommend them enough and I can't thank John enough for being so patient with me and making such a beautiful ring for my fiance.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, PLEASE STAY AWAY…read more They finally shipped back my ring and it was extremely damaged, you cannot wear at all. I called them the second I got it they said it was shipped out in a perfect condition, so many lies. Their ring is so cheaply made and that is why the price is affordable, please spend the money elsewhere. I did the installments with this company and had paid $1000 to have them start the process faster. Little did I know, the custom made ring was received in no condition to what I asked for, ring came with dent and unpolished, made in platinum! See photos. Ring was sent back 1 week later for them to inspect and repair on 10/29. With over 1 months communications, they somehow just do not want to send my ring back when I told them since you cannot do a new setting then return the ring back! I had to ask so many times to ask for updates. I had left a review and wow they asked me to remove the ring, meanwhile still did not want to send back the ring. I had to tell them that if they do not send back the ring I will be filing complaints. The person is so insist that the review is so important to them and keep harassing me and still without sending my ring. I had enough I told them I gave two solutions, one is to refund partially for the setting you had done wrong and I will remove the review, second is send back the ring and the review stay. The person had promised with 300 refund, so I said I will remove the review once I received the ring and refund as you promised. And I obviously did not receive the 300, funny why am i stupid to believe. The ring I received today 12/3 was just purposely damaged. See photos. I just cannot justify enough whether you are a family business or not, this is a wrong way to treat a customer, especially you are at fault at every steps. I still currently pay for the installments as I will be still doing so because I still need to pay the portion for the center stone. I'm going to through my credit card company to have refund to what I had already paid which is the partial refund they should refund me for me to make a new setting at a different jeweler which will cost another 1200-2000. If you had not purposely damaging the ring itself and send back the original ring, you will not be seeing this review here, but you did and you know you did. Attached a final ring photo from them and emails they had asked to remove the review.
