Came here on a Tuesday around noon to get some watch batteries replaced. Nice girl at the counter helped me out and went to check to see if the watch guy was there. He was there so she told me it would take 5 minutes. I sat down, played on my phone, and soon enough, the watches were ready. Price for the 2 watches was very reasonable. The girl gave me a little zip lock bag to put the watches in. I'd recommend this place if you need your watch battery replaced. I can't really comment on their other services, but they seem like nice people. read more

David's Jewelers - this pic is from their website - Jewelry Near Me

Prior to the pandemic, I always used a jeweler in the city. I was recommended to David's Jewelers by a friend and so glad she did! David is very knowledgeable, trust-worthy and is a reliable jeweler. I went to David with very specific details about what I wanted ie size of diamonds, specs such as color and clarity. After a couple of visits and calls (it was a large investment), he was able to custom-make me an unbelievable piece that exceeded all my expectations. David was very honest and offered reasonable prices. His team was also very helpful and extremely friendly! I found my Go-To Jeweler! read more

We've only been in here once - to get a replacement battery for my son's watch. David and the staff were so nice to my kids! He did a great job and I have actually been trying to find an excuse to go back and get something (anything!) repaired! read more

I have been meaning to write a review for David's for some time, however was prompted to after seeing the atrocious review left by another Yelper. For several years I have been going to David's for all my jewelry needs, watch battery replacement, antique watch restoration, engagement ring, wedding wing, antique diamond ring restoration, and the list goes on and on. EVERY TIME I have dealt with David or his staff they have been the utmost professional and kind. David charges very reasonable rates for everything and if he quotes me a rate under what it ended up costing, he sticks with his original estimate. Not many people will ever do that. There have been times I have gone in and the place was mobbed, I either wait or come back. There are only so many people working to give service, so it is understandable. I too have been in late when they have been wrapping up. They have NEVER been rude, but they are people too and have been working all day, of course they want to go home. Also, from previous knowledge, there are insurance rules about what time the place close, so they are up against a clock. This all being said, if you are looking for a personal jeweler who is knowledgeable, fair and reasonable, I definitely recommend David's in Florham Park. read more

Bought my fiancé's engagement ring here. The ring is gorgeous and David was a great professional. He was very courteous and did not put any pressure on me to overspend. He even went above and beyond to give me my ring at my convenience. I really appreciate his help as my fiancé loves her ring and it is truly gorgeous! read more

The store was empty when I walked in, they were about to close so the lady in the front was a bit busy. The second lady at the back of the store asked me to bring my watch to her, she seemed busy as well. She took my watch and I just sat there in silence. It was a bit awkward but she got done fairly quick. I paid 5.35$ to replace the batteries for my watch, they didn't clean it tho. Overall, it was a fair experience. I would go back read more

The short version: I highly recommend David's Jewelers, David and his team are fantastic to work with and provide quality work. The full story: My fiance went to David's Jewelers for my engagement ring, after getting poor work/design back on my ring from a DIFFERENT jeweler. He brought the original ring to David's, explained the issue and that there was a time crunch to get it fixed because he wanted to propose on Christmas Eve (less than 2 weeks away). They were extremely helpful and understood the urgency to get the ring back and for it to be perfect. They worked with my fiance to determine the best course of action, while also not costing him extra money for any unnecessary or duplicate work since they didn't have my exact ring size, which when already spending a lot on an engagement ring, he certainly appreciated this. He got the ring back a few days prior to Christmas Eve and it was perfect. A few days after he proposed he told me the full story of how he got the ring, and expressed how great the people at David's are and how they helped reassure him it will all work out and he will have the ring in time. My fiance and I both went back to David's a week after getting engaged to get my ring resized and I got to experience the service at David's myself and he certainly did not exaggerate about how fantastic they are! We spoke with David and Theresa that day and they were so personable and attentive to what we needed. Also, being a woman who was recently engaged they understood that I didn't want to part with my ring for long so they got it resized and back to me way faster than we expected. We will certainly be going back to David's Jewelers for our wedding rings and any other future jewelry needs. read more

Watches battery replacement I have an extensive collection of watches. I have used David's Jewelers in Florham Park NJ for replacing the batteries for a long time and they were nice and competitive ($7/8 for most of the watches). In the last months I paid $9/10 for most of the watches. I know that some batteries are more expensive than others but on dozens of replacements, it is significant, even if they are still very nice. I am trying to find another supplier now. read more

A very important anniversary is approaching. I returned to David's Jewelry in Florham Park. The perfect ring was in the case. The selections were numerous, coupled with a very knowledgeable and courteous sales staff, resulted in another wonderful experience at David's. The ring I purchased will have to be made because of the size. While I was in the store the owner picked up the phone, called the manufacturer confirmed the delivery date and price. Over the past 7 years David's Jewelry has provided many pieces of fine designer jewelry to us. Alway available for questions, and always willing to clean and polish any of our jewelry. Every one of my more than 25 experiences with David's has been wonderful. I absolutely have and will recommend David's to anyone. Bruce F. read more

I've been to this location several times for watch repairs and have been satisfied with their work and, more importantly, customer service. If they need to send something out to another location, such as New York, for a repair, they let you know upfront as well as how much you can expect to pay. Informed, professional service with a smile. Can't get much better than that. read more

For jewelry repairs this place rocks. I broke the band on my watch and came in with it late on Friday. Explained that I was flying out to Europe the next evening and was there any way they could fix it quick. Staff was super nice and asked me what the latest I could come to get it was. I said Saturday at noon and got a call that it was ready by 10 the next morning. Staff was again was super nice when I came in and repair was extremely reasonable (only $5). Would definitely recommend for repairs in the area read more

I remember as a young kid going with my grandmother to Guy Franks Jewelers in Hartford, CT where she made all her jewelry purchases and repairs. Fast forward thirty years, a wife and two teenage children later, I finally understand the importance and value of having a trusted jeweler, and David's Jewelers is that trusted establishment. My wife and I have been going to David's for several years for the outstanding service, large selection and variety of pieces, and welcoming atmosphere. That's why we keep going back and continue to recommend David's Jewelers to our friends and family. read more

Have tried several other jewelers in the area with distinctily negative experiences. Stopped by a few months ago just to get rings cleaned - they were great. Stopped in last month to have work done on a pair of heavy 14K gold earrings. They could have talked me into an expensive repair but instead "tried" a simple fix which worked beautifully & inexpensively. I also had my watch battery changed very reasonably. The woman I worked with was lovely & all the phone interactions were very pleasant. I HIGHLY recommend this Jewelry store. read more
