I have been a Med Plan participant for 3 years. I have recommended the organization to a lot of…read morepeople because I thought they were serious and because they offer affordable medical options for Florida low income population. Last August 23rd I had an appointment with my PCP. It was my first time ever to the doctor since I got to the US but I have been suffering from an intense back pain and decided to see to it. The doctor ordered X rays and the lady at the front desk did her best to get the earliest appointment for my X rays, but it was only possible on the 19th of September, I did not complain, she tried. She set all my labs and Paps for the same day since I have little free time. So, since August 23rd I requested 4 hrs off from my morning job to do my medical things. Today I got a phone call from the clinic saying that my appointment was transferred for tomorrow, no previous notice. I complained, of course. The CS Rep transferred my call to her supervisor, Yany. She was very kind but also unable to help me solve my problem. She explained that the X rays hours changed and they had to move the appointments to different dates. That I get, but you people need to show some respect for the patients' time. You NEVER called to inform me about the changes, only today, 24 hrs before... You made changes and did not take time to accommodate the patients who already had appointments with you in your clinic. You offered what you call a solution and suggested that I go to Larkins and get my X rays done there, but I would then have to call that clinic, make a new appointment, request my X rays order from you and cross my fingers praying that I do not have to wait for another month.... It should be on you, guys, to do that because you cancelled my appointment without previous notice showing absolutely no respect for my time. You should have made that appointment for me and also guarantee that I get the same prices I am paying at the clinic because I have NEVER missed a payment, I have NEVER bothered you in any way and I have recommended your services to many of my acquaintances. You have let me down BIG TIME. This country has a slogan that goes"TIME IS MONEY" and you just made it very clear that you do not care about your patients' time. Nobody goes to the doctor for nothing. I needed help and thought you could offer that assistance since it was my first time requesting the services of the company that I have supporting for 3 years. But none of it was considered when cancelling my appointment without notice and offering no real solution for my problem. I deeply regret all the free promotion you got from me. I will certainly reverse that, starting with this review
