I really wanted to use L&G so I questioned the gutter cost that was near double the lowest price point, as well I asked why we had to remove my current wood panels to install the siding when 5 other contractors felt it was better to install over the wood. Basically I was told my house would not look right and that the gutters were the lowest without them losing money. I reconnected with the other contractors and questioned the removal of the wood as I was curious if they were trying to save me money to win the bid and if that was actually best for my home. All 5 agreed it was actually better to install over. Fast forward, I went with a contractor who did not do gutters - so I waited to call gutter professionals when the siding was done. I collected 4 estimates as well as some to roof a barn shed. Ironically all these quotes were half of L&G's gutter quote which is what I found with the other siding contractors. One contractors who didn't do roofs suggested I reconnect with L&G. I did. I explained why I didn't use them and told them I was looking for the cheapest solution (product) to roof the shed. I asked if they would consider coming out for a fair estimate without any fluff or unnecessary add ons. The shed is nothing that need a spectacular metal roof and precision shingling. L&G declined coming out to provide a fair estimate and related they would not be the cheapest.

Therefore, they had to remove the 3 layers, replace some of the plywood, and then replace the gutter-covers. They did a great job. They were very professional, finished faster than they said they would, and ended up charging us less than they initially said they would. One thing that really impressed me was that when something fell on a railing on our porch and cracked it, as soon as I pointed that out Sheeley agreed to replace it without hesitation, they went out purchased the replacement, and installed it without me having to lift a finger. When a company lives up to their mistakes like that it really shows their true value. These guys were not the cheapest option out there, but they were very well worth the extra cost.

Day of install, the crew was incredible - fast and precise with safety a top priority (ropes/harnesses etc.). Front and back of the house was draped with debris nets, protecting flower beds and siding during demo. Garrett, project manager and liaison between crew and homeowner, was very affable and kept us informed on the progress. By mid-morning the roof was off and ice and water shield was going on. By 5:30 the shingles were on and the yard was swept, even utilizing a wheeled magnet to syphon any rogue nails that may have landed in the grass. The charcoal architectural shingle with black drip edge looked sharp with clean edges, giving our home a more modern look while not breaking the bank. Sheeley offers an incredible decades-long warranty on their roofs, which is even transferable to future owners should you decide to sell. They were concerned that I shouldn't just let anyone have access to my security cameras and wanted to assist at no charge and just "being a good neighbor". Wow, who does THAT anymore? Today everyone wants a Benjamin. In any event, turns our T-Mobile doesn't work well for me so I kept my current internet provider and didn't need for them to come out. That said, I did need my gutters cleaned. They provided a "no pressure" and very affordable estimate after driving past my house (took a photo) so I didn't need to be present. The estimate was not just for cleaning the gutters but removing the gutter guards and rinsing every out. I had quite the mess up there. You can see from the photos they provided me with after the job how bad it was. Photos of before and after? Yes. THEY DO THAT!!!! Their Technicians, Rachell and Vasil were here two hours and did a fabulous job. They gave me a window of time from 11 - 1:30 and they were here within that window. Both of them were quite the team.
