My child is 10 so this isn't easy Also I had cut the back of my daughters hair and had asked for a shaved under cut for that section. What she did is not the same as the picture I showed and what they said they could do. My daughter is devastated and now walking around like this for holidays and I'm pretty disturbed we were charged $150 for a few highlights, this disaster in the back, and a trim that took 10 minutes of actual hair cutting. For example, Hannah charges $40 for a haircut, while the other stylist charges $50, they kept the price as $40. My new hairstylist was Dennise. I was attended to quickly and she sat down and had a conversation with me about what exactly I wanted and my past experiences. Honestly every time I have gone to a salon in the past few years, I leave disappointed. Last haircut I got was about 2 months before this one and they didn't cut it short enough or add any layers like I asked. It cost $150 and I was very unhappy with it. I showed Dennise some reference photos and she gave me suggestions and a walk through on what we could do to achieve what I wanted so that I wouldn't be surprised by anything. Unfortunately the picture I took with my new haircut doesn't really get the back of it so it doesn't do it justice. She did cut my hair slightly different because my natural hair is more to the curly side so she took shrinkage into consideration (and I wanted bangs). But my hair looked amazing! One way to tell if they're open before pulling into the parking lot is to see if their flag is hanging outside the door. Overall, if you need a no frills haircut, this is the place to go! Much cheaper and better than places like Great Clips.

It is so extremely rare to sit in that chair and feel like the stylist just "gets" what I'm looking for and can make it a reality. Rachel made it happen so painlessly and the experience was pleasant through and through (and the mimosa didn't hurt either ). I was so appreciative after having to cancel my appointment last week due to an emergency with my son, that Rachel didn't hold the cancellation against me and showed concern asking how he was doing. My hair came out beautifully, and Rachel took the time to answer all my inquiries about hair troubles and techniques. I will most definitely be returning!
