It took 16 months to complete what Dr. Yarmand started. My request to do procedures under local…read moreanesthesia was declined by Dr. Yarmand in favour of IV without explanation. While removing one tooth, he destroyed two more adjacent teeth. When leaving his office, I was given the statement. Later on when I was back to my normal state of mind, I looked into the statement. The amount charged to my credit card was different from what I paid before the procedure. This second payment was charged without my authorization. The amount for bone regeneration increased from $820 to $ 1050. Also, the statement showed another "bone regeneration" the Dr. Yarmand claimed has been done, although there were no cuts, stitches or threads in that place of my mouth. To extract destroyed teeth and complete the project, I went to another surgeon. Unlike Dr. Yarmand, this other Doctor performed all procedures under local anesthesia as I requested. He did not request a one-thousand- dollar deposit before the procedure. Payments were taken only upon the completion of each procedure. For each procedure, he charged amounts the same as on the estimates. Every time, my credit card was charged in front of me. The price for each implant was 20% lower than with Mr. Yarmand. To follow-up on the second version of Dr. Yarmand response. 1. Dr. Yarmand declined my specific request for local anaesthesia in favour of IV ($680+$60). Regarding, "IV sedation comfort", the nurse tried to insert a needle into my vein 3 times. Then, she called for help another nurse who was able to get into my vein on her 2nd attempt. 2. According to the 1-st payment receipt, my credit card was charged at 9:18 a.m. in front of me before the procedure. According to the 2nd payment receipt, my credit card was charged 2nd time with different amount (to replace the 1st charge) at 12:16 p.m. without my knowledge while I was still in the operating area. According to the wall clock in the operating area, I left this area at 12:22 p.m.( 6 min after my card was charged). 3. When I asked Dr. Yarmand about my destroyed teeth he did not apologize, did not express regret about the damage he did to me. I was in shock. I couldn't discuss anything with him anymore. To replace destroyed teeth with implants, I paid $10K to another surgeon.

The operation was pretty quick, I was done in about 15 minutes for removing the teeth on my left side! And the recovery was pretty smooth. Highly recommend getting your wisdom teeth removed here!

Great customer service, even over the phone they are so informative and caring. They booked me in the next few days after learning my condition, and they even had the doctor come in earlier than their operation time just to squeeze me in. As you can imagine, I was super nervous and in general very anxious with anything dental/surgery related. But, Dr Kanaan and the nurse walked me through the process and made me feel comfortable. The procedure started with check ins (questions) and then a 360 Xray (which is by far the smoothest dental X-ray I've ever experienced). Then Dr Kanaan came in and did a consultation, explained to me the whole process and the options for anesthesia. I chose IV anesthesia and they walked me through the steps how it will happen. They gave me laughing gas to calm my nerves then inserted the IV where the anesthesia went in. All the staff were very nice and caring throughout the whole process. The last thing I remember was I Dr Kanaan putting a dental pillow inside my mouth, and then I got woken up by the nurse with my gauze already on. It felt like I just closed my eyes and when I opened them up, the deed is done. After the procedure they helped me walked around the room to get a feel of my surroundings. Asked me a couple of random questions to check my consciousness and then explained to me and my partner the process of after care. They don't cover insurance payment but they do send the paperwork and claim for you. I ended up paying $1000 including everything but it's totally worth it! The service is 10/10 and they also sent me the X-ray copies right after. It was overall a great experience! You could totally trust them with any extractions in the future. I highly recommend!

Avoid this clinic at all costs. My experience here was…read moreshockingly unprofessional, disrespectful, and feels deliberately misleading toward patients. First, I called in advance and clearly asked whether I needed to pay anything with my CDCP card. The woman on the phone told me "No, you won't need to pay." But when I arrived, they suddenly charged me, even though my insurance should have covered the full amount. The bill they gave me even shows that the insurance was expected to pay, yet they still took money from me. When I walked in, the receptionist looked annoyed, rolled her eyes at me because I arrived close to the appointment time, and basically ignored me. Extremely rude and unwelcoming behavior for a healthcare environment. Then the "examination" was nothing. The doctor didn't provide a proper check, didn't diagnose anything, didn't explain anything -- but somehow they still created a charge and pushed me to pay it. This place feels like it relies on confusion and taking advantage of patients who trust their words. I strongly warn everyone: do NOT go here. There are plenty of clinics in Toronto that are honest, respectful, and transparent. This one is the opposite.

The african american receptionists are extremely rude and totally unprofessional -Giving dirty looks -Not welcoming -Sucking teeth if you ask them questions -Talking crap underneath there breathe -Forcefully grabbing documents out of your hand All the receptionists who work here are lacking motivation-very depressing actually-and its clear they weren't trained properly on something called "professionalism". They book appointments months away, they always say they dont have availability and even if you have an appointment you'll be waiting another 2 hours minimum before getting in. They close on the weekends, so if you have a "mon-fri job" get ready to loose a day of work! Let's get back to my wisdom tooth... I was having surgery for my wisdom tooth that hit the nerve, Dr. Jeffrey Farber kept insisting to pay an extra $500 to be put under anesthesia which I refused to do so since this is a BIG RISK and to even keep insisting after your patient repeatedly said NO I found that odd and to be put under anesthesia for 1 wisdom tooth is ridiculous in my world. CLEARLY "MONEY HUNGRY" The "trinidadian" nurse who was helping Dr. Jeffrey Farber she was also RUDE doing my dental xray aggressively, grabbing my shoulder pushing me around where to stand and telling me how to stand properly?? She even started to raise her voice at me and treated me very disrespectful because I misunderstood a question the doctor asked me. After my surgery Dr.Jeffrey Farber prescribed me "AMOXICILLIN 500MG" and did not prescribe me any PAIN KILLERS I went through so much pain because the doctor doesnt give his patients "after surgery" anything for the PAIN. 5 hours after my surgery my stitches snapped off on it's own and now I was left with a open socket!! I went back to the clinic because the PAIN WAS UNBEARABLE and again Dr. Jeffrey Farber would not prescribe me any pain killers instead he cut a small cloth and put numbing creme and stuffed it in my open socket WHICH DIDNT STOP THE PAIN IF ANYTHING HE MADE IT WORSE FROM THE PRESSURE OF THIS "NUMB CLOTH" STUFFED IN MY SOCKET Then he had the nerve to say come back in 3 days so we can remove the numb cloth and replace it with a new one!! HELLO AM I DREAMING? WHAT KIND OF DOCTOR IS HE. *****WARNING***** DO NOT COME HERE TO GET ANY PROCEDURES DONE THEY WILL MAKE YOU SUFFER AND THE SURGEONS AT THIS LOCATION DO NOT DO A GOOD JOB, EVEN MY NEW DENTIST SAID THE WORK THEY DID WASNT DONE PROPERLY. STAY FAR AWAY If you have absolutely no choice but to come to this stupid clinic please make sure to ask for Dr Bedrettin Sener he is the only one who is nice and professional.

After the surgery my son had the normal amount of swelling but unfortunately it didn't go away. My son went back to Dr. Voutsas' office and was told that the lumps in my son's neck must have already been present before the surgery and that he must have mono so he should go to our family doctor. My son was put on antibiotics after the surgery as well as another round when he went back to the office. After the last appointment there was no follow-up from his office. My son went to his family doctor and it was confirmed for that his lymph nodes were still swollen with an ultrasound. He was then referred to an ENT who stated that Dr. Voutsas did not provide adequate after care from the procedure and that the swelling in his face will not go down for another five or so years. So you can imagine how I was dreading my visit to the oral surgeon. Thank goodness for Dr. Moncarz and the rest of the staff here. They were amazing. Friendly. Patient. Funny. Thorough. Dr. Moncarz himself was funny, friendly, and took the time to explain things to me in as much depth as I wanted. I was greatly reassured by the time I left my consultation appointment and arrived for my surgery feeling only minimally nervous. I was seen exactly on time for all of my appointments and everything seemed quite efficient while I was being seen. The staff were willing to work with me to book appointments around my crazy schedule. Dr Moncarz made sure I was armed with enough medications to deal with the pain I'd have after having four wisdom teeth (two impacted) removed under general anesthetic. He also reviewed the post-op instructions me with as well as providing a detailed handout that I could read again later. I even received a call from the office the day after my surgery checking in to see how things were going and address any questions. One star off because the clinic is a bit cluttered and the kind of dirty that happens when a place has been open for years and years. I have no concerns about safety (and I'm a nurse - I feel like I'm a pretty good judge of cleanliness and sterility), but the appearance of the place could have been more reassuring. That said, I was thrilled with the whole team and everything went as well as can be expected when you're having teeth yanked out of your head. I'd definitely recommend Dr. Moncarz should you ever be in need of similar services.
