He is also very careful with the natural light of the sun, and shadows that could ruin a scene. He analyzes every parameter perfectly before starting to shoot. In addition to be skilled behind the camera, he truly did an amazing work for the editing of my 10 videos with the software FinalCut. He synchronized my Voice Over perfectly on each video, put the subtitles, selected and cut the best parts of each videos to come up with an amazing results. Our family and friends really enjoyed both the long-form and short-form videos, and we were so pleased at how quickly Yellow Hook put them together. Andrea and Douglass were friendly, responsive, and professional. And at the wedding they were totally unobtrusive - we barely noticed they were there, yet somehow they managed to get tons of great footage! Not only did Yellow Hook do a great job, they were willing to work with our budget, which was really essential as we didn't have unlimited funds. The person that did show up was rude, intrusive during the ceremony, turned up an hour early, and then charged us an additional fee to stay for the last hour of the contract. We were deceived and treated very poorly. It makes no difference the quality of the work; the attitudes, of the photographer and the person that created our final wedding album, were appalling and it was extraordinarily unpleasant to have to be in the same room with them. Absolutely everyone deserves better! You would be really only slightly worse off to hire your friend to bring their phone to shoot your event. After all of our hard work we came out feeling disappointed & taken advantage of. The best word to describe the experience with our photographer is shameful. We got snobbed by the photographers, me and my side of the family was not even asked to take individual photos or together me and my husband. They were in my bridal room for 2 minutes ,took a few awful pictures of me getting ready. Our wedding video is so bad I could cry every time I think of it. Never watch it, it's too painful and it just makes me angry. We never got a long one just a 5 min snippet. The music is cued so out of context that I am walking down the aisle to party music. We tried to get it fixed 3 times and it's like a blind and deaf person is editing it who was also extremely rude!!! I wish I had just gone to someone else. I could have thrown the money (thousands) out of the window and it would've been better spent.

I accepted your offer of a free album in lieu of a partial refund, which, honestly, is what I really wanted. I thought it was an act of good faith. For what it's worth, we've looked at it once, and we just get angry all over again. Our wedding was on a Sunday night - so yes, quite a few folks left after DINNER (not cocktails, as you falsely state), but there were plenty of opportunities to get everybody. The real issue, which you have once again chosen to ignore, is the fact that one of us doesn't have a bridal portrait because your assistant Matt was rude and neither of you bothered to try to fix the situation. Instead, you drank our booze, checked your phone, and ignored the guests. Go ahead, look at our pictures. You will see that there are no shots beyond the dance floor of the same group of people, because Pete and Matt didn't make any effort to capture anybody else. After posting our review, several folks reached out to us privately to say how unhappy they were with you and that many of their guests were missing as well. Perhaps we're the only ones who made our grievances public, but rest assured, we are NOT the only unsatisfied clients.
