Spending a couple hours in the morning with Alberto felt like we were meeting an old friend. Alberto is very quick in his creative decision-making and can capture the perfect shot in mere minutes. This made the whole process very smooth for us. All of the poses he suggested seemed very natural and brought out our personalities. We also received the photos much faster than we expected, which was just the cherry on top of the entire experience. The online portal to access the photos is also intuitive and user-friendly, which is great for when we sent the link over to our parents. The photo gallery looks absolutely beautiful, and we really couldn't be happier with how the photos turned out.

From start to finish, everything was organized to perfection. Weeks before the session, we received an incredibly thoughtful email with every detail we need--outfit suggestions, what to expect, and even questions about what our boys love so they could personalize the experience. That level of care and communication already set them apart. On the day of the shoot, everything was seamless. We were warmly greeted by Sophie, who is truly one of the most wonderful photographers we've ever worked with. She immediately helped us settle in and made the boys feel comfortable from the first moment. They had a little setup for the kids with small toys, treats, and water--simple touches that made a huge difference. The session lasted about 30 minutes, and we were amazed by how many beautiful photos we received. Even more surprising was how much our boys enjoyed the experience; they jumped right in with ideas for poses and stayed fully engaged the whole time. We've never seen them warm up to a new activity that quickly, and that speaks volumes about Sophie and the entire team. The proof gallery was delivered quickly, and within a week, we had our final edited images, which were absolutely stunning. We truly cannot recommend Michael Kronos Photography enough. Their professionalism, warmth, creativity, and incredible attention to detail make them the best of the best in NYC. We left extremely happy and will definitely be returning for future sessions!

The day of our wedding, we were very impressed with our photographers. They arrived early, stayed…read morelate, worked hard, and were very congenial. Our guests appreciated their presence. When we got our photos a month and a half later, we were somewhat disappointed. There didn't seem to be a lot of great photos. Lots were dark; many were out of focus or mis-focused, and lots of key moments seemed to be captured at awkward angles--perhaps too much effort was placed on being inconspicuous. We didn't really get the sense that a lot of time was spent post-processing them, either. (We realized later that most of our favorite photos from their portfolio were on very bright days in all-white houses and professionally-lit reception halls. We wrongly assumed the beauty was captured via their execution.) I wouldn't say they were "bad," just underwhelming relative to even our tempered expectations. The most disappointing part came at the end. We tried hard to express our disappointment diplomatically. We asked the lead photographer to point out some of the photos he put extra work into so we could appreciate them or compare them to the raw photos, and we asked for some of the photos they had removed (due to focus issues, etc.) so we could maybe salvage parts of them ourselves if they captured a moment we wanted but missed. His responses were very defensive and unproductive. He said he spent lots of time on them, he insisted we were sent great photos, and that we don't understand working with a videographer and how that limited the angles they could get. We attempted to deescalate by clarifying that we were just trying to get the most out of the day without imposing more time on him, not to criticize or complain, but it was fruitless. He said he selected the best photos and only removed bad photos, then later contradicted that he had sent us all the photos when we requested the "bad" ones. In the end, he returned our tip (which we didn't want or ask him to do), and stopped responding to us without providing any of the material we requested. I get that asking to "show your work" can be insulting to a professional, but his response when we were just trying to make the most of the situation was anything but professional. I'm sure there are plenty of Bride- and Groom-zillas who will be much less understanding than we, and while the photos were a little disappointing, the final taste in our mouths gives me more reason to advise caution.

Edward turned out to be especially easy to deal with - returning calls and emails immediately, and listening to and answering all our requests, concerns and questions. He came to the event early to plan how to get the best shots and accommodate the tight space. He had an additional videographer and second camera so he would not have to move around too much, and not disrupt the ceremony. And he got everything - editing the two videos to give us a complete record of our wedding. Edward exceeded our expectations in every way, and delivered a quality video of our wedding that is a delightful and moving experience to watch and share with our family and friends. We were extremely impressed with Edward's professionalism, diligence, focus and easy nature in dealing with our guests and young children. And he delivered an artistic, creative, beautiful final product, on time! We highly recommend Edward from PhotoVideoGo for your next celebration. You won't be disappointed.

Oh, Pete. Once again you had a chance to make it right, and…read moreyou chose to personally attack us. Let me be clear. I never said your photos were bad; the ones you bothered to get were lovely. I accepted your offer of a free album in lieu of a partial refund, which, honestly, is what I really wanted. I thought it was an act of good faith. For what it's worth, we've looked at it once, and we just get angry all over again. Our wedding was on a Sunday night - so yes, quite a few folks left after DINNER (not cocktails, as you falsely state), but there were plenty of opportunities to get everybody. The real issue, which you have once again chosen to ignore, is the fact that one of us doesn't have a bridal portrait because your assistant Matt was rude and neither of you bothered to try to fix the situation. Instead, you drank our booze, checked your phone, and ignored the guests. Go ahead, look at our pictures. You will see that there are no shots beyond the dance floor of the same group of people, because Pete and Matt didn't make any effort to capture anybody else. After posting our review, several folks reached out to us privately to say how unhappy they were with you and that many of their guests were missing as well. Perhaps we're the only ones who made our grievances public, but rest assured, we are NOT the only unsatisfied clients.
