Working with Daniel has been such an amazing process. My now husband and I instantly fell in love with his cinematic storytelling. His videos spoke to me and felt so different than a lot of other wedding videographers I looked into. Even when we jumped on our first call to see if we would be a fit, it was so easy to talk to him! We loved him right away and decided to move forward asap. Daniel was extremely helpful in providing insights outside of videography related things - he helped suggest other vendors who he trusted and helped plan our timeline and really went the extra mile. When our wedding was rolling around the corner, we met again a few times to finalize the specifics on our film. On the day of the wedding, Daniel was a true BOSS! Although we did not book photography through him, we ultimately wished we did. (I highly suggest doing this for anyone reading this. A seamless partnership where videographers and photographers have experience working together is crucial and 100% will make your special day flow better.) We valued Daniel so much because of his experience - he kept track of timelines as best as possible and knew how to command a crowd, in the most respectful way! After a few months of eager waiting, we finally received both our highlight film and feature film. I'm SO happy we went with both films. We shared the highlight film with many others, but saved the feature film for select family and friends, as it was longer. The film was everything we could've asked for, and more. He really took the feedback we shared to curate a work of art. HIGHLY RECOMMEND booking Daniel for your wedding day! He knows what he is doing and will make the day amazing - and then a few months later as you relive the day after watching your video, you'll know you made the right choice! Thank you so much, Daniel!!! read more

The best! Daniel is a true professional and really brought our wedding to life with his enthusiasm, creativity and dedication to showcasing our special day and made it one of a kind. We couldn't stop watching the film the day we received it and it really brought us back to our wedding day. He is really a master at his craft and I can't recommend him enough! read more

Just wow, completely floored by the quality, professionalism, and experience we had with Daniel!  We had no expectations of what we would be getting as we had never hired a professional photographer before, let alone one for our wedding.     We got married at the courthouse in Manhattan, as we both preferred a straightforward and simple affair.  That said, Daniel was not only early but had scouted out lower Manhattan for the best picture spots and had an itinerary ready to go.  You could tell he knew his stuff, where to go, how to pose, and he was great fun to be around, keeping the mood light and happy, exactly what we wanted.     We took a tour of a few notable buildings, had a great time and an impromptu pizza stop, and ended the day at the seaport for some near the water pics.  The day ended at a nice restaurant with a few family and friends, where we had some cake and ended the evening at the hotel.     Daniel totally impressed us with his ease of communication and promptness too, we got the pictures so quickly and were able to share them with friends and family the next week.  Would definitely recommend his services for any and all future weddings and events, you won't be disappointed!   Thanks again! read more

One of the best decisions for our wedding was having Daniel as our photographer. Not only were we thrilled with how our photos turned out, but we really enjoyed the photoshoot itself too. Daniel had scouted out a lot of locations and angles earlier in the day, so had a clear idea of where to take us. He guided us on poses but also let us be ourselves, so the process felt organic. He was a pro and had a great eye for knowing how to arrange my dress train and flower bouquet depending on the shot. We're having a hard time putting together an album now because there are too many pictures we love! Daniel is very personable, communicative, professional, and simply excellent at what he does. We wish we could've hired two of him; one for videography! read more

We cannot recommend Daniel highly enough. He is a consummate professional and a master at what he does. First and foremost, the movies that he made for us were breathtaking. We chose Daniel after seeing the sample films on his website; the quality quotient of those films were above and beyond anyone else's that we'd seen and so we knew the bar would be high. However, even that couldn't prepare us for how amazing it was to see our own film; it truly felt like we had come out of a Hollywood set. Daniel displayed boundless creativity in getting the best shot possible, making the most out of any background and lighting. All the little comments and notes that we'd sent him were incorporated in the most beautiful ways and the editing really recaptured all the most magical moments of our day. Just as importantly, Daniel displayed an absolute masterclass on how to make the wedding day effortless and enjoyable as a vendor. Daniel went above and beyond in working with us to optimize our schedule, letting us know which parts of the day historically take longer than planned, where we might want to build in time buffers, etc, helping ensure that the day went as smoothly as possible. He also kindly offered his time before the wedding to better get to know us personally and to get additional shots ahead of the chaos that is the wedding day. One thing that stands out about Daniel is his attention to detail. He put in the work to scout our locations ahead of time (not just the venue but also our getting ready location, first look location, etc), which was extremely appreciated. His detail-orientation also came through in the questions he asked us before the process began. He sought to understand our history and relationship, our personalities and the parts of our wedding that meant the most to us in order to best craft our story. He is very easy to speak to and work with, which made all the mundane aspects of the day (posing, getting shots) enjoyable and effortless. One understated quality in a videographer / photographer is their ability to direct the wedding party, other vendors as well as any crowds (especially in NYC!) to get the perfect shots and Daniel was absolutely able to step up to the role to capture perfection in every shot. We would also note that Daniel was quick, prompt, and insightful with all his replies, giving us tremendous peace of mind that he was on top of our event. We would not hesitate to recommend Daniel to anyone and plan to actively recommend him to any of our friends that are getting married. read more

Choosing Daniel as a videographer for our wedding was one of/if not the best decisions we made. Daniel was amazing to work with, was so much fun, professional, and the video was unbelievable. Can't recommend Daniel enough! read more

Daniel Wu produced more than I could ever imagine with our family video. He captured memories of our growing family at a time in our lives that we want to forever preserve. Every time we watch, now two years later, we get a little warm-fuzzy high. Our toddler, that was a baby at the time of filming, literally cried the first time she watched it! Daniel was so easy to work with, and we are eternally grateful that he chooses to share his talent with the world. read more

I'll preface this review by saying that we were extra picky about selecting a videographer. We wanted a wedding video that captured us as individuals, not just us on our wedding day. We scoured through many other videographer's wedding reels, and most were either formulaically cheesy or mediocre in film quality. When we finally stumbled upon Daniel, we knew he was our only choice - and boy did he not disappoint. Truly can't imagine loving our wedding video more. It's just gorgeous. A quick look through his website will give you an idea of how unique his videos are and how tailored they are to the couple. What many couples realize throughout the wedding planning process is that while the commodities themselves (flowers, videos, photos, etc.) are important, the vendor's services (responsiveness, flexibility, demeanor) are all equally important things to consider on your wedding day. Daniel was just the nicest and most responsive vendor from start to finish. He put us at ease and he put us first. Can't recommend him enough! Thank you, Daniel! read more

Daniel is absolutely amazing. From the moment we had our google meet, I knew he was the photographer I was going to go with. He has such positive energy and really tries to get to know you as a couple and not a transaction. He was absolutely amazing on my wedding day. Obsessed with the sneak peeks and can't wait to see the rest. I cannot say enough about him. Highly recommend :) read more

Daniel was one of the best wedding decisions I made and if I had to re-do my wedding a million times again, I would choose him every time. He's a true professional and stand out guy. I was considering forgoing videography all together and then maybe even going cheaper on it, but you truly get what you pay for. The effort and dedication Daniel did from start to finish was amazing. He paid attention to what we cared about and also made sure we were comfortable the entire time. You'll see that each video is tailored to each couple. He asked me what I liked about certain wedding videos from the very first interaction, and I knew very quickly I wanted to hire him because of how kind and gentle he was. He even encouraged me to talk to other videographers, and I'm so glad I went with him. He made the video even better than I could have imagined. Our wedding video will be something my family and I treasure forever. I have already received so many compliments. Thank you for truly being the best of the best!! read more

I wish I could explain the level of excitement my husband and I felt watching our final wedding videos by Daniel Wu. Let me start off by saying I had a very clear picture of what I wanted the videos to look like, sound like, and feel like. Daniel listened and added his creative vision to bring it to life. The clarity in the videos, the voice overs, overlays and vibe met my expectations and then some. We opted for a highlight and a feature film with drone footage. If you're on the fence, I encourage you to splurge on video! The drone footage also helped to capture our Manhattan setting and skyline. Now 6 months post our wedding, it's a tactile memory that brings us back to our most special day. I'm so thankful we decided to move forward with Daniel (after meeting with what seemed like dozens of videographers). He is kind, attentive, thoughtful and such a light. xoxo Maria read more

My husband and I had the opportunity to work with Daniel and Shail for our wedding back in September 2021. Daniel was extremely friendly, patient, and helpful throughout our wedding planning process. No matter how many questions or concerns we had, Daniel was always there to provide solutions. Daniel made us feel so much at ease during our engagement shoot! And when it came to the day of the wedding, we worked with Shail, and he had the same friendliness, care, and patience that Daniel had. Shail captured our wedding so beautifully, and watching the videos made us feel like we were reliving our special day again with our friends and family! I cannot stress enough how amazing both Daniel and Shail are, and both my husband and I are so fortunate to have been able to work with both of them! Thank you both! read more

Daniel was absolutely amazing to work with right from the beginning!! He is so dedicated and passionate and we could not have asked for anyone better! Daniel is very organized and caring and really takes the time to get to know his couples. He was super helpful not just with the videography, but with the wedding planning process as well! He gave us helpful advice and recommendations when we needed or asked for it and made everything go so smoothly! Daniel went above and beyond to capture all the moments of our wedding day and even stayed later to get extra footage for us! My husband and I definitely feel awkward in front of the camera, but Daniel made us feel so comfortable with his energy! Daniel's talent truly shows in each of the wedding films he makes! He really puts in a lot of time and effort to make a film that is unique to each couple! We are so blown away and happy with our wedding film and all the choices Daniel made were perfect! We truly cannot thank Daniel enough for the amazing work he has done to create a beautiful wedding film for us to look back on and relive our wedding day for years to come! 1000000/5 stars for Daniel! He is the sweetest! From beginning to end he was a JOY to work with! He came to our hotel early to get videos of us all throughout the morning AND stayed late to make sure he captured all the fun surprises throughout the night! He wound up going over our 8 hour timeframe and was so gracious with his time. He was totally invested in our planning for 2.5 years and he NAILED the final cuts of our big day!! He is a master of his trade. The songs he chose, the moments he highlighted, the perfection of it all!! We were blown away and have watched it so many times already! We cry every time! We purchased the ceremony cut, a highlight film, and a feature film. He threw in another alternate highlight film because he is THE BEST! Thank you times a MILLION, Daniel! Danny videographed my bestfriend at her wedding and everything came out so amazing! The quality was superb and he made the whole process so fun. Working with Daniel Wu as our videographer was one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. He genuinely cared about our story as if he were telling his own. His warm and welcoming personality instantly makes you feel comfortable and allows him to capture real moments. His professionalism is unparalleled. We can't thank him enough for his beautiful work and giving us the ability to relive and feel the same wonderful emotions we felt on our wedding day and share it with our loved ones. We must have looked through a hundred videographers and once we saw Daniel's work, we knew he was the one. His videos are incredible and his aesthetic was exactly what we were looking for. Daniel was so responsive to my initial inquiry and immediately scheduled a phone call with us to get to know us and go over the process. We felt very at ease with our first conversation. We knew Daniel had to be our videographer. After we booked Daniel, we had to make several changes due to COVID. Daniel was always flexible with us and willing to move dates and change times, etc. He was so great to work with. Leading up to the wedding we had multiple calls and emails to go over additional ideas I had for more footage. We decided to add more time to our package to have Daniel start at the hotel, and I am so glad that we did. On the day of, he was great. He worked seamlessly and effortlessly to get all of the footage we wanted. We just received our highlight film and feature film today and we are simply blown away with the videos. He captured our day perfectly. Hiring Daniel was the best decision we made. We are so excited to have these videos to look back on forever. Thank you for everything Daniel!! read more

We worked with Daniel and his team for our wedding in New York (Central Park) in April 2022. Our wedding planning process was longer and more complicated than we expected (we rescheduled our wedding date twice due to the pandemic), but Daniel was always friendly, patient, enthusiastic, helpful and supportive. He made sure to get to know us a couple and clarify our exact videography preferences before the big day. Daniel also had a number of additional filming suggestions for the wedding day itinerary that turned out perfectly. On the day itself, Daniel and his team were fantastic: highly professional, enthusiastic, personable, obtaining all the footage they needed while making us feel relaxed and at ease. We received four produced videos about four months after our wedding day (4 minute highlight film, 20 minute feature film, 20 minute speeches film, and 25 minute ceremony film), and we are DELIGHTED with the quality of them! The highlight film and feature film are expertly produced and perfectly capture our original vision. Daniel was also highly accommodating in making two small changes to the films at our request. We highly recommend Daniel Wu Productions - you will not be disappointed! read more
