Any other time, I would have loved to vege out with a book for a while but we didn't have the luxury of time then. We ordered a corrafo with their decaf coffee with a chocolate syrup for my daughter and I tried their pour over, which is a lot like a single serving of hand drip coffee. I opted for their barnyard owl (?) dark which turned out to be slightly more acidic than what I am used to. The drinks are not only delicious but on weekends you can find the owners in the store working away. After speaking with them and learning the back story of this business I fell in love. They are so passionate about birds and being as sustainable as possible. You can recycle coffee bags for a discount, take coffee Chaff home for your garden, purchase homemade scrub made from the coffee. They have purchased loved again items for the shop and they even promote local artists in the area. I will definitely come back here and chance I get .

And what a experience we got!…read more This reminds me of the US Veteran owned company, they are doing good things to help the community and veterans. They give back on every purchase. We entered and found a small lounge (for first responders etc) and someone came out to show us the merchandise. We bought a few bags of coffee and shirts and got to see the production side too. Super nice people, great cause, and GREAT coffee!! We will be ordering from them in the future. It would be awesome to see them grow but keep humble as one of their shirts says. The staff are so friendly, and you'll likely bump into one of their regular customers while you're there. Their signature roast (which they use for their drinks) is balanced and smooth, but they also have a number of other beans for purchase. I wish that there was the option to select the beans for to-go drink orders. They also make syrups in-house for their seasonal specialty menu, so I had to give their blueberry pancake syrup a try with my iced matcha. Unlike many store bought syrups, it wasn't a weird artificial, overly sweet flavour.

There was a gentleman who served us. The store sells masala chai packaged in small tins/bag, ground coffee, coffee beans, coffee accessories, flavour syrups, cookies, biscotti and so much more. There was one table with four chairs but it was used to place inventory. We took our drinks to go. We ordered the Velvet Latte with Oat Milk and Pumpkin spice latte. The Velvet latte tasted very similar to a Spanish latte. The pumpkin spice was pretty good except I found the syrup to be a bit too strong for my taste buds. It's a good spot to try if you're in the area and want to try something different.
