My husband and I have stayed here several times and have enjoyed it every time. We camped by river each time and it's so peaceful. They have full hook ups & all the amenities (which is nice when you have kids) including a kids park & a dog park. They have ice at the lodge and even deliver firewood to your camping spot. Very family friendly! Kids riding their bikes and families taking walks together through the park. They strictly enforce quiet time which is great in my opinion. The lodge is beautiful and the resort is beautiful nestled in the trees with the river running through it! My only complaint would be that some of the staff at the front desk and answering phones seem to have a difficult time working the computers and trying to find availability of camp sites/dates takes quite a bit of time. BUT they are always extremely kind and I am always pleased with the service! read more

Very disappointing experience with the visitor policy I'm a paying guest at Road Runner RV Resort, and I was extremely disappointed by how a simple pickup was handled. My son was coming to pick me up because we were hunting and I had multiple bows and hunting gear that needed to be loaded into his vehicle. He was not staying, visiting, or using the facilities. We even offered to pay a fee for the brief pickup, but were still told he could not drive into the park. When we questioned the policy, we were told there had been instances of people driving in and staying to drink. (Assuming that we would. That had nothing to do with our situation. We were clearly dressed in hunting camouflage, had our hunting equipment, and were trying to leave before losing daylight. I even told them we were burning daylight while this was being argued. The front desk, particularly Lori, was extremely dismissive rather than trying to find a reasonable solution. I understand having rules, but there should be some common sense and courtesy when dealing with a paying guest in a completely different situation. The problem wasn't simply being told no, it was the inflexible way it was handled and how we were treated. read more

RV park is very clean and people were totally friendly. Nice area and quiet which was nice. I've never stayed in a park where your neighbor was literally 8 ft away. Felt like a sardine. $300 for 3 nights was also way too high to be that packed in. Will also add that the bathroom and shower area was extremely clean and spacious. Wouldn't stay again because of being so close and price. read more

Even though we booked six or more months ago and told RR we have a 32' 5th wheel with three slides, we were placed in a camping spot with barely 6 feet on the sides and no where for our truck without having to stick out in the street. When we pulled in our Nextdoor neighbor was 4 feet into our area and the guy across the street had his utility trailer sticking out in the road (the guy at check in said this was acceptable) although both neighbors had room in their spots to park elsewhere.No one was around to move their stuff so we could easily pull into our spot. We almost made it in but caught the utility trailer with our backend. We had no room for chairs or firepit. Management did nothing to help us find a better spot even though several people had not checked in yet. They need to figure out a better system. We saw small units in large spots and lg units in small spots. Had plans to have friends over for dinner Sunday night but no room for tables and to pull out our grill. Very disappointing. read more

We loved Road Runner last year (2021) and now we're preparing to return in a couple of weeks (July 2022)! We can't wait! It was off the main road tucked away in a quiet area with mature trees and the stream/river that runs through the the middle of it. Our dog loved the dog park area as she was able to run off leash. We liked the little store and everyone we met was super nice. Took this pic of hubby practicing his fly fishing skills by our camper. So much fun! This is by far the best RV park that I have ever had the pleasure to spend my vacation. The facilities are impeccable. The atmosphere and views are fantastic. My family and I have been coming here for years and are always pleased with the entire experience. The staff is courteous and helpful. You have the option of staying right by the river or there is even a section for adults only that is extra quiet and the sites are a little more secluded. This park caters to families as well. It has a great playground as well as a community center. The grounds are extremely well maintained. Our fellow campers have always been friendly and thoughtful. I would highly recommend this place to veteran as well as new campers. read more

Great park. It does have plenty of rules but for good reason. Most spots have shade. One area is pretty cramped but if you get by river or adults only section you have shade and more room. Gated with a code for after hours. Helpful staff and friendly full timers work here. No Walmart in town but a grocery and hardware store. They have great wifi this year and cable tv. My family and I reserved a site for Labor Day weekend 2021. We tow a 32ft fifth wheel with a Ford diesel. We were placed in a spot near a camp host right on the creek that runs through. They had us pull through since no other campers had arrived yet. When you reserve a site on their website, you put what length, extra vehicles etc you will be arriving with. They put us in a spot that no fifth wheel should ever be parked. Once our fifth wheel was parked, there was absolutely no room for our diesel truck. We had to push the fifth wheel over next to a tree as far as it would go and then park our truck right next to our fifth wheel with barely enough room to open our camper door. No room to place chairs outside of our door, no campfire because the truck was parked over it. The over flow parking was already packed and no room for our truck. Once other campers arrived, we were completely boxed in. We were the only fifth wheel placed in this small area. Upon checkout, we were then told we would have to pull out of our spot then back up our rig to get out. The exit was in the shape of a horseshoe. Have any of you tried backing up a fifth wheel in a U turn with other trucks and campers surrounding the edges? Dumb. There was a large pipe that ran across an old exit and they wouldn't budge to move that pipe for us. The the camp host told us that whatever we did to get out of that spot, we were NOT to touch a tree. So they put us in a spot too small for our rig, wouldn't help us to get out and they were only worried about their tree. With the help of another camper we were able to get our fifth wheel out but not without the tree scratching the entire length of our fifth wheel. $300 in damages. Never again will I stay at a place so greedy for money, that they will pack their customers in like sardines with no regard to their comfort or safety. read more

Nice place, However, don't stay on Memorial Day weekend! Gates lock at 10:00 pm No vehicles are allowed after 10:00 pm, and no entrance after 1:00. This eliminates going out dancing and listening to the bands that come in for this event. When I booked the site in February, they told me that no motorcycles were allowed after 10:00 pm, which is fairly understandable because of the loud pipes. The owner and staff are rude and treat you like a high school kid with a curfew. I own a business and I treat my customers with respect! After all, my customers pay my bills and I understand that concept. The owner told me this was a resort! I've traveled a lot and stayed at MANY resorts and have never been treated so poorly. WE WILL NOT SPEND OUR MONEY HERE AGAIN, UNLESS THE RULES CHANGE FOR BIKE WEEK!!! Totally ridiculous! Two stars because it's well kept! read more

Great location to town, easy bike riding distance. Just from looking from the road, I thought this one had the nicest trees and shade of the 3 parks in town. It's a big park, lots of sites and people- so depending on what you're looking for that could be good or bad. The only downfall for me was the wifi. It was really weak and spotty. read more

The park was clean, with very friendly people working. Very pet friendly (as long as you clean up after your pup) However, very pricey at $50 ( with taxes ) per night for a 30 amp hook up, more for 50 amp. We only stayed 1 night as we were trying multiple areas to see where we preferred and if you stay only 1 night they do not let you choose your spot. The spot/area they put you in is basically a parking lot with electricity and water. The sites they put you in do not have picnic tables or fire pits, nor do they have access to a grill to cook food. Gated entrance and bathhouse is an extra $10 each to get a keycard which is refunded when you turn the key cards back in. However they do not tell you this until after you have paid for your site ( with of course a no refund policy ) The WiFi was not working and had apparently been down for a few days ( per the staff ). Even though you are put in a parking lot area you still are charged the price that the other premium sites are charged. The park boasts of over 200 sites and while there I only saw maybe 50 campers total and still was unable to have an actual camping site! I am not pleased with this park :( read more

we were planning a family trip for July 2018 and called to get permission to have a 5th adult as one of our granddaughters is 18 and considered an adult plus 2 other grandkids to stay with us in our space. The response from the desk clerk was appalling and repulsive at best, she stated the current policy and then ask if our kids and grandkids could stay at a hotel in town, then stated she would have to check with the owner. One of the owners called back and tried to correct the situation but her clerk had already done the damage and we canceled our reservations for the summer and got reservations at another park, the only (5 star) rating was the owners refunded our deposit. This would've been the same if we asked the owners and clerk and their families to a BBQ and when they arrived told them that they could eat but their families had to watch from the fence! We understand and have always followed the rules to the letter but to be insulted and then questioned like trash is the rudest we have ever been treated in 60 plus years of life! read more

The park is in a beautiful location and it is well kept but the competency of the staff is abysmal at best. We had a difficult time setting up a reservation initially. The staff couldn't get the dates correct. We had to make a change in our reservation date (due to a serious safety concern that garnered national attention-outside of my control) and the staff only begrudgingly changed the date due. Their cancellation/refund policy doesn't allow for emergencies and the staff in General is not well versed on their own policy as I was told differnt things In During the same conversation on several occasions, leaving me very frustrated. I tried to be reasonable and move my dates out 45 plus days but the staff was inflexible and advised my only option was to I "borrow a truck from someone" since the truck I own to pull my 5th wheel vehicle broke down unexpectedly and I couldn't keep my reserved dates because I had to wait on parts for repairs. I even offered to provide receipts showing my repairs but was simply told that if I do not keep my reservation I would forfeit my deposit. Roadrunner RV Resort just lost a long time (10+ years) patron. read more
