The selection is very eclectic, they even have a selection of classical records to choose from. It's a very open space, room to move around. There's a listening station where you can take a seat and relax with a new find, they had some mystery bags for $5. They also buy your used records, so I brought a few in and got some store credit. SolSta can also be found at various events with their bus full of vinyl. Owners were super nice and open for questions even though they were busy packing for an event. I was looking at the one measly (but spot-on) review of B-Squad and thinking, "B-Squad should not be a hidden gem. It's just a regular gem. This cute little shop in SoMi has a really eclectic selection that is a mix between newer things and real-deal vintage, plus records, a little decor, accessories, shoes, boots and some kids stuff. The store is kept up well, so there always seems to be some cool new thing in the window or racked up when I visit, which is not as often as I'd like. Anecdote from my recent visit: I went a couple of weeks ago and, while I browsed the merch, I eavesdropped on the clerk's convo with her friend. She was like, "OMG, you just have to come in and look at this bag.... Yeah, it's gorgeous! And It's probably not going to last very long because it's so cheap... and it's a FRYE!" Simultaneously as the word FRYE came out of the shop-girl's mouth, I saw the bag. I should say, I saw THE bag: a camel-colored, buttery leather backpack with vintage looks and modern functionality (laptop pouch!) for $40. I had to have it. After she hung up the phone, I sheepishly asked the clerk, "Is this the bag you were talking about? Because I'm a rude, rude person and was listening to your entire conversation." I braced myself to hear that her friend wanted it, but luckily, she replied with, "Yes! I'm in love with that thing... you should definitely buy it!" So, I just had to follow her advice, right? I even offered to write her friend a letter with my apologies for eavesdropping her out of an amazing leather bag... and my condolences, because she'll never see the wonder that is this bag. Heck, this place sells vacuum cleaners, which makes it ironic that it's so nasty inside. The records and CDs are only rudimentarily organized. They are overpriced, and some are in really rough shape, too. A lot of them aren't priced, either. I won't be returning. Save yourself a trip.

When I sent him the images for the CDs he gave me advice on colors and brightness of them. This helped a lot since most of my album was darker in color with a lot of black. Turnaround time for both of my CD orders was fast and the quality of them is great! I ordered jewel case CDs with a two-panel insert. All in all I will definitely use them again when needed. Great products and customer service.

Don't buy here. I…read morecalled about three weeks ago to ask about Pokémon Scarlet & Violet single booster packs and was quoted $8 per pack. That's above MSRP, but still reasonable if you can't find them at retail. Yesterday, before making the 30-minute drive, I called again to confirm prices. I asked about Prismatic Evolutions, Pokémon 151, and Scarlet & Violet. The employee knew some of the prices himself but asked a female coworker to help with and confirm the others. I could clearly hear their conversation over the phone. Between the two of them, they quoted Prismatic Evolutions at $15 per pack, Pokémon 151 at $30 per pack, and Scarlet & Violet at $9 per pack. After confirming the prices, the employee repeated them to me, so I made the drive based on the information they gave me. When I arrived, the Scarlet & Violet packs were marked $12 each. I told them I had literally just called and was quoted $9 per pack. Instead of acknowledging that the wrong price had been given over the phone, the female employee denied that anyone had ever quoted me $9 and even claimed that no one had spoken to me on the phone. That made absolutely no sense since I had called less than 30 minutes earlier, heard the employee ask her for help confirming prices, and then heard the prices they gave me. The extra $3 per pack wasn't even the biggest issue. Mistakes happen. What bothered me was the dishonesty and refusal to simply say, "I'm sorry, we gave you the wrong price over the phone." Instead, they acted like I was making it up. To make things worse, another customer laughed and said, "The price is $12 for you, haha." Whether it was a joke or not, it made the experience even worse. What they don't realize is that if they had simply honored the quoted price--or even admitted the mistake--I was prepared to spend a couple thousand dollars that day on ETBs, booster packs, and singles. Instead, they lost a customer over $3 a pack and the way they handled the situation. It felt like a bait-and-switch. They tell you one price over the phone, charge a different price when you arrive, and then deny ever giving you the original quote or even speaking to you. Customer service and honesty go a long way, and this place showed me exactly how they treat customers. Save yourself the drive, your time, and your money. There are plenty of better card shops that deserve your business.
