I have been a member at cyclebar in Boca Raton for almost 3 years. The moment you walk into the…read morestudio you are greeted by name and with the warmest smile most likely from someone who has become a friend because that's just how the staff is at cyclebar Boca. Once you get into the community room you actually have to remind yourself your at a workout studio because of how clean the lockers are, the floor is, and the bathrooms are (this one is HUGE FOR ME!!!)!!! No doubt you'll be chatting with other members who have also become close friends of yours and sometimes like family. Then there is the ride or the lift class. Every single instructor at cyclebar Boca will take you on the most unforgettable 45 minute journey (or 30 min lift) each one being better than the last one. The playlists are handcrafted for each ride and lift and you can feel the thoughtfulness that goes into them. Whether you're looking for a workout, community, or time to unwind from the business that life can be, you will find what you're looking for here. Can't recommend this place enough.

I had done spinning while in college and at my gym I can never catch a class as my schedule doesn't coincide with the classes. Enter CycleBar! CycleBar is a great way to get back in shape if you like spinning or are looking for something more fun than your regular workout! The room has about 40 bikes from what I could tell and it's a total vibe! The lights are really dim they have some neon lights through giving it a club appeal which I do enjoy! The instructors are very animated and they push you to reach higher levels. If you've never done a cycle class just beware your inner thighs will be sore. They use a very thin seat and it's a bit hard. Back in the day I used a gel seat cover that would help but you do get used to the seat situation very fast! They provide lockers and towels. The bikes are assigned to you by number and it's important to make sure you get the right number so you can continue gaging your gains. Some instructors put the stats on the screen so you can see how you are doing and how you're ranking. I highly recommend CycleBar! They also have an app to schedule classes and check your credits. Credits are banked/used to schedule classes.

The front desk employee was really nice as well. I felt very welcomed and decided to get a membership there. It's worth it because they have really nice equipment and awesome employees . I cant wait to get in shape and feel healthy. I know if I keep going I'll get better in weight and strength. I'm happy this is only 10 mins from my home and a nice new gym studio. They have spinning and strength building classes. Can't wait to be a Spenga member for a long time. !!!

I was really excited for my first class. Unfortunately I arrived at exactly 10 (unusual…read morecircumstances prevented me from arriving earlier, which usually I make it a point to be early to any appointment or class), right when the class was starting. I didn't arrive late, however the girls at the front desk did not allow me to enter because "the room is dark and the instructor has to help you onto your spin bike". I've been to cycle bars where the front desk girls assist class attendees onto their bikes, so I was surprised by this policy. They said I'd have to wait for the spin portion to be over before allowing me in. However, the problem was that a woman arrived after me, 10 minutes late, and they allowed her right in and told her what bike she was on. I had friends inside the class who told me afterwards that this woman took the bike that I was supposedly assigned on; apparently my name was written above the bike. This leads me to believe that the front desk girls gave up my spot when I wasn't late, and covered it up with excuses to hide the fact that they have the bike up to someone who arrived late. I did partake in the strength and yoga portion of the class. I really enjoyed the instructor, her pacing, her demeanor, encouragement, attentiveness, and the way she lead the exercises. I would give her a 5 stars alone however I have to rate the experience based on the practice and the poor etiquette of the front desk girls. Still, I enjoyed the part I was allowed to partake in and I'd be open to returning to give it a real shot.

This is an awesome facility and I truly enjoy spending time there. There's something for everyone no matter what your fitness goals are-- during my time as a member I've gone from "taking a break" from working out and doing a lot of yoga/relaxing and now currently getting back into a bodybuilding program. The gym offers a variety of equipment and I never have to improvise due to lack of equipment. I might be staying the obvious here, but if you are into powerlifting, I would probably go elsewhere. The cardio machines are brand new and really nice. The actual place itself is very clean. I feel totally comfortable showering in the locker room and they have everything you need- towels, body wash, lotion, razors, etc. The outdoor pool is really pretty and nice to relax at after a workout. Staff is super nice and helpful. I have yet to buy any food from the cafe but it looks good. Definitely some good options if you're in a bind or spending a long time there. I will gladly pay the extra $ to train in a clean and peaceful gym.

I simply cannot believe the decisions made for their renovation. I understand renovations were needed as the gym they previously purchased and renamed, did need several cosmetic updates. However, whoever made the decisions for this specific location seriously is tone deaf, and should not be put in charge of such decisions in the future. Not to mention, the air conditioning still stops working randomly, the showers are not open for use, can't use the court because of construction, several classes unavailable. And they are still charging full price. The only silver lining, and also the only reason I left two stars, is because the lifting area is still nicely maintained. And honestly, after seeing what they chose to do with the basketball courts, I will no longer be coming to this location. Removal of the full court NBA sized court with all the side baskets will affect their membership numbers more than they realize. This location has long been a legendary court where high-level players and their training staff and friends would frequent. Especially over the summer. Now it's been downsized to a LA Fitness style court. Also, considering how much it cost nowadays to replace of hardwood basketball court, if they ever chose to go back on their decision, it would cost them triple. Absolutely bonehead move by whoever signed off on this. Whoever made this decision, does not understand the local community and their desires. Furthermore, it's not like they were short on space. There's plenty of room in this massive gym to have turf placed without cutting up the bball floor. Not to mention, the other nearest lifetime in Palm Beacch Gardens only has Pickleball courts. So basically, if you are a basketball player, Life Time doesn't really care about you. Such an absolute shame. Local community that is affected by this will find alternate locations. Personally, I will be going to the equinox in West Palm. Feel free to include a boring corporate response below this review, but understand that no matter what you say, you made a terrible decision which was not " in the best interest of the community". I hate how so many things nowadays are made worse by someone sitting behind a desk signing off on bad ideas. Well, understand that now people who used to drive over an hour to come use this gym will find other places to go.
