Let me start off by saying this..NEVER have I EVER had such an horrible experience with this…read moreoffice, the front desk lady.. from the 1ST time that I came in, she had an attitude. Rude, to everyone, and always in a bad mood. Example... I came in, not wearing a mask, the man in front of me, no mask either. I come up and she flings a mask at me. And I said...You didnt have the man in front of men, wear one...Just pointing that out, nicely. But let's continue. I called, to ask a simple question from Jennifer..20 minutes back and forth, and couldnt speak to me for 60 seconds. I had been passing out 4 times, had to get stitches. Made an appointment with her at 4pm..FIRST let me say that I was indeed an emotional wreck..After being in the E.R twice, and feeling like im going to pass out every moment that I'm awake! Called to see if she could see me or set up a video call. Told them I'd come in, cause it's an emergency. They said they needed me to come in that day, to see me in person. I have NO ONE here to help me, pick me up, or take me. I did get angry and cuss, when I told her I have no way there..If I drive I could pass out and wreck! Still insisted I come in. My bank card was hacked and waiting for a new card to come in the mail. I had NO way there. But still.. I managed to get there. She leaves me in a room for 20 minutes, me feeling like im going to pass out.. ALLL I need is to ask her why.why and what could be making me feel this way. If it was indeed a panic attack, she should have taken 2 minutes to try and calm me down. But instead, the nurse said , "you dont look good" no shit!! and then the DOCTOR Jennifer, says, I can't help you If you are like this!!!. THAT'S YOUR JOB!!!! THEN, I had an appointment with her, the NEXT DAY. my mom drove almost 2 hours to be with me. I have the screen shot of my confirmed appointment. I get there, and the RUDE lady at the desk, said Oh i dont have an appointment, said oh yes i do...Asked if I could speak with my DOCTOR for 2 minutes since my mom was with me, just to ask a few questions.. the lady RUDELY said NO!! and said I was escorted off the property the day before..because I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO upset, I just wanted to go home.. THEY WANTED ME TO WALK HOME, I can barley stand without about hitting the floor passing out...luckily I found an uber driver who took the last 10$ that I had. She says she will no longer be seeing me because I verbally attacked her and the staff... MY mom said, to the front desk lady, wow, you are rude.... OH YES... that's verbally attacking someone!! THIS DOCTOR IS A FLAKE!!!!!!!!!! I had every right to be upset and worked up... YES I did say things over the phone out of anger and being so upset and gaslit. But the next day....with my mom, I had her come with me to see HOW THIS OFFICE AND PEOPLE TREATED ME!!!! Oh and I;m not the only person who has a problem with her and her office...Talked to another lady who was comforting me down in the E.R who said she doesn't like her either and neither does her mom... HA! Jennifer Sudduth and her assistant/nurse & the front desk.... ALLLL need to find new jobs. Cause you did not help me when I was in NEED OF HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wanted to ask you 3 or 4 questions about what could be wrong with me. But you couldnt take the time out of your day to HELP A PATIENT!!!!! Also... you, and your office staff, ARE THE WORST!!!!

So I moved to Lexington for this transplant. (Best choice I made) I was traveling 2 hours for…read morepretransplant appointments and finally received my surgery in Jan '19, 1 year after restarting the process. They made me feel comfortable going into the process like they had everything covered. I felt informed going into the procedure. They and everyone I talked to leading up said it would be easier with a donor because I could wait up to 6 years without one. So my best friend of 15 years stepped up and donated! She loved her coordinator and kept in touch a lot with questions. I only heard from mine about quarterly. I was told I needed to seek therapy for my anxiety and depression so I did, which was useful for me. Time for the transplant part. Surgery went well. After checking in we were brought back within 30 minutes. We were allowed to have 1 person with us to wait. Post op was worse for me than it was for my donor. I won't go into the complications I had with my stay in the hospital. They sent her out on a pain drip but I had to request 5mg every 6 hours? There was no communication between any of my care team throughout the recovery. My education went well but was hard to understand but they gave me plenty of reading material and things to try and make it easier. They gave me an excellent pill organizer large enough to hold all of my meds. I had never had a large procedure like this before that I had not been sent home on any anti anxiety medication to get me through at least 2 weeks post op. Especially with a the trauma I had endured throughout that time. My visits after we're long and inconvenient because of the wait time got longer and longer waiting for a Dr to come in for 5 minutes ask me how I was and then give me my next apt. I had to leave at least twice due to inconvenience with it and had to make first available apts. which they later told me would not be an option for me.

Today, Dr. Simon examined my daughter, and I understand you need to get close to do an examination, but he had his legs spread and was so close to her on the chair that her knees were touching between his legs. He stayed like this even after the examination while he was talking to me, and this made me very uncomfortable. In hindsight, I wish I had asked him to move, but was just kind of waiting for him to and he never did until the very end of the appointment. The worst part, is that while he was in that position, he asked my daughter how she got sick. She explained that she thought she got it from her best friend, a girl in her class, and he said, "I know how you REALLY got it. From your boyfriend." And leaned in towards her face and made a bunch of kissing noises. I couldn't believe he would say this to a six-year-old girl. It was wildly inappropriate. Not to mention, he grabbed my hand while it was rested on my lap while explaining my daughter's treatment to me... Until now, this has been a truly wonderful practice. I've always been happy with the treatment my daughter has received, but this situation made me so uncomfortable that I'm switching to another provider immediately.
