Dr Dicken is the friendliest person there but if you talk too much he'll excuse himself from the room "for just a moment" and then a nurse will come in and say you're all set and ready to go. She has her receptionist talk to patients instead of getting on the phone with them to deliver scary news (Office: Hi, this is Dr. Pollock's office, your test came back with "insert scary stuff". Our 85 year old Mother: What should I do? Office: Oh, not sure, let me ask the doctor and call you back.) She has her receptionist deliver information when a patient is standing literally in the office and she can tell them herself (my mother was in the waiting room and could see Dr. Pollock talking to her receptionist who literally turned around and repeated what Dr. Pollock said to her - seriously, not kidding). Basically, she treated my elderly mother in a very cold and rude manner when she had a major medical issue which scared our mother even more and was completely unnecessary. We all thought my mother had a great doctor until she got sick and then we realized that Ann Pollock only wants to bill insurance companies or Medicare for well-checks and push off her sick patients on specialists without any follow up or help. Maybe she's just biding her time until she retires. Who knows? But my sister's and I removed our mother from her practice.
