It's free admission but you have to pay for parking through an app. I still marvel at the craftsmanship and the attention to detail of the mapping and modeling of the entire Mississippi River and run offs and flood control as well as the engineering feat to duplicate the river depth and volume from being told end. It is a little sad that it is not taken care of. Several spots are covered with "moss" or decomposition of leaves etc. When I was a kid I remember taking my shoes off and walking through the river and could physically feel the depth changes as I followed the path. I would totally not recommend that now a days! Would be great to see some philanthropic process take over getting the resources to arrange to take care of this before it's too far gone to maintain.

This is a Jack Nicklaus course with a really fun layout. There are holes with amazing views and you feel like you are in the wilderness. There isn't much decoration, not much intrigue to the three courses ranging from easy to advanced, and the water features were completely drained even in the springtime. However, what the courses lack in entertainment value, the sprawling property makes up for with bumper boats during the summer, a massive indoor facility including laser tag, and other attractions. It's a fun place to bring kids in the Memphis area when the atmosphere is vibrant and the weather is nice! It's just not a stellar place to play putt putt.
