Don't waste your time with these folks. I engaged with them to help me get my Medicare policies in…read moreplace during my initial enrollment period. They sent me an email to schedule a meeting, when we would presumably be able to accomplish this. PA Health Advocates expressed a preference to do this with a phone call. I had already spent a couple hours with SHIP volunteers, plus multiple phone calls with Social Security, Medicare, PACE and the PA HHS office. I had a preference for a face-to-face meeting, where I believed it would be easier to simply show them the paperwork I had, and they could do the same. If you're 65 and sorting through Medicare for the first time, you know how many steps are involved, and how these can be confusing at times. I continued to ask questions via email, believing this would help me be better prepared for the scheduled meeting. I spoke with one of their brokers by phone prior to any meetings. Three days before my first meeting with them, they canceled the meeting and told me to find somebody else to work with on this. To be clear, I had not yet had any meetings with PA Health Advocates -- I exchanged emails with questions, and spoke to them once by phone (they called me for a preliminary contact). I responded by asking them not to cancel my only meeting with them, but they have ghosted me since doing that. After I posted a review via Google, PA Health Advocates responded to my (negative) review. They accused me of avoiding their meetings, which is not true. They canceled the only meeting before it could occur. They accused me of being "contentious." I asked questions, and that apparently offended them. These were not tough questions, and were not meant to be abrasive in any way. Still, they apparently took offense, and rather than addressing that issue directly, they bailed on me. Finally, Josh (apparently the owner or manager of this office) said he had advised his broker to sever ties with me "out of protecting their time" so that they could deal with other clients. Presumably these were clients with few questions who could be dispatched quickly, which improves the bottom line for both PA Health Advocates and its brokers. As always, it came down to money. I had too many questions, and the possibility that I might qualify for "extra help" via PA HHS might also require a little time to ensure smooth coordination. By its own admission, PA Health Advocates seems to be looking only for easy, fast interactions that will enable it to load up more reimbursements per hour for its services. If you have any questions, if you already know how to spell "Medicare," don't bother with PA Health Advocates. They don't want you. They want clients who will sign anything with no questions asked. I am not that kind of person, so I was culled from their schedule.

I would not recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a auto or homeowner's insurance…read more Most of the time no one gets back to you at all unless you leave a message saying you want to add coverage. Calls and emails go unanswered. Just horrible.

Horrible! My experience with this company has been horrible and the issues continue…read more 1. I was quoted one price for insurance and then after I signed for the insurance the rate was different than what was discussed. 2. I tried to change the insurance because they had added a building on my property, that never existed, and I tried to lower the deductible, etc., at the same time. They continually sent me forms that I would sign and send back and they would not change the insurance. If I had not followed up, I probably would not have realized that the changes were never made. 3. I called each time I sent forms to them, to follow up, but they would reply that they did not receive the forms. When I asked why their letter stated that my forms were received, they would respond with asking for proof that I sent the forms (not sure why proof of sending the forms was necessary when they had the forms). 4. They received the forms and once I pointed out that their letter stated that they received forms, then they would state that the signatures on the forms did not match or the dates were incorrect. 5. I asked for a copy of the forms, that they had received, that I signed and dated. They promised to send a copy of the forms but they never arrived. I had to request the forms several times, and finally after multiple follow ups, I received the forms. The forms were signed and dated, as requested, and I could not find an error. 7. When I asked what was wrong with the previous forms, they said that there was one number that looked to be something that it was not and there was one J that looked to be printed instead of a signature kind of J, in my name, therefore they did not accept the forms for the change in insurance. 8. As I stated to them, this was my signature and the dates were fine and appropriate. They stated that all the forms were to be signed again and the insurance will not be changed without a forth set of forms (signed, dated, sent by registered mail and received by them). 9. In conversations, the representative dominated the phone calls so they did not have to respond to my highlighting the issues. It has been one excuse after another as to why they could not change my insurance, as requested. 10. My mortgage company contacted me because Murray had not sent proof of my homeowners insurance on my property (which I had requested Murray to send a copy of my home insurance to the mortgage company and since this is a regulated action of all insurance companies, they should have responded and sent the paper work to the mortgage company.) Murray obviously must not have done their job which caused issues with my mortgage. When I asked Murray about this, they asked for the mortgage company's address but they assured me that they had sent the proof into the mortgage company. Hmmm (so why did they need the mortgage company's address?). This has been a Nightmare! I hope to save you the pain.
