PRIOR to making my first appointment I checked with my insurance provider that annual physical as well associated annual labs related to prevention were covered, and the insurance company confirmed this would be the case. PRIOR to making my first appointment, I called the office and was assured they will bill the visit as an annual physical and only do the covered labs. On the day of the visit, I reminded the staff AND Dr. Michael Leser that I was ONLY there for the annual physical and those labs covered by the affordable care act for which they nodded that's what they would do. Then get a bill for close to $200 with the insurance company stating they did not bill for the annual physical and the practice is REFUSING to make things right. Add insult to injury, as a nurse I've been trying to refer patients to the practice and one of my biological female referrals had their bill as well as prescription coded for a prostate exam when females don't have a prostate! If you want ethical and fair billing, seek care elsewhere!

I asked for the person's name and found out it is Jared and that he is part owner of the practice. To me, that says it all about this operation and their motivation. Why does Yelp only show the good ratings on him? My experience was the most horrid in 1/2 a century of care. He didn't listen, already made his mind up about EVERYTHING before he ever saw me and then introduced untruthful notes into my record. This Doctor does not care about pain as he uses his own pain scale to determine what pain you should be in - in my case NONE even though the record shows that I have multiple mild problems which for me add up to massive pain. If this wasn't the case, how could I be in off-the-charts pain and then have an epidural done by another Dr. and it worked? If my issue was all muscular and did not exist - this couldn't have possibly happened. But, Dr. Mascari knows it all. It is my hope someday he is ousted from the Medical Community for good.
