She was extremely thorough with explaining all the paperwork I needed to fill out, and even allowed me to take it home to finish. Dr. Pietrofesa was great! She was engaged the entire visit. She answered every question I had- and was very informative on useful information. Dr. P was able to schedule my next appointment with her right at the computer in the room. I absolutely love that, as it saved so much time not having to wait to check out at the front. I was able to walk right out! They have a website with cool features, like scheduling appointments. I would love to give them 5 stars, but initially when trying to schedule an appointment there were a few communication issues. Overall, I'm glad I discovered this place, and hope to be able to increase their rating overtime.

My second visit to Patient First was even more excellent than my first visit nine months ago…read more This time I was able to see Dr. Sean Perrine, who is intelligent, personable, kind, patient and caring. Dr. Perrine suggested that I have the impacted earwax removed from both ears. Paige, a medical specialist in earwax removal, did a superb job to accomplish this complicated and time-consuming task. Dr. Perrine also prescribed an antibiotic for me that he called in to my pharmacy on record. The prescription was ready for pick up when I arrived. The wait time was less than five minutes because I was there when they opened at 8 AM on a Tuesday. I was unable to get an appointment with my family doctor that week. Pansinusitis should not be left untreated for too long, so I did the right thing by going to Patient First for superior medical care from a friendly, caring and knowledgeable staff. I would give Patient First a 23+ out of 10 ... fabulous ... fantastic and a life saver when a family doctor cannot provide immediate care. Patient First on Jonestown Road in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, is THE BEST in 2025!

I was on hold for 27 minutes, someone picked up didn't say anything & then put me on hold for another 20 minutes & then hung up. I called back, held another 20 minutes, told them I had compromised immune system & needed the doc. to call in an RX. When I hadn't heard anything for 4 hrs I called back just to hold again for a long time & relayed the same info. Next day no RX sent to pharmacy, No c.b. I called the next day in a.m. explained everything all over again & asked to have a RX called in or my doctor call me back. No c.b. I called back before closing. I was put on hold until they closed. Called back and got their answering service. I asked to have a doctor call me back. A doctor, I guess, called me back she identified herself so quickly, barely listened to a word I said & just kept loudly talking over me, No empathy, I guess it just wasn't her job. She kept saying: Go to Urgent Care! I don't have any of your information. I didn't a need a doctor to call me back to tell me that. The Answering Service could have told me that. Two days have passed since I began calling them. Now by Monday I will be over the time-frame to get Paxlovid. This office couldn't care less.
