I agree that rolling in at 1:35 or 1:40pm would be a dick move but 20 to 30 minutes should be ok. If not, post on Facebook that you are closing early. Normally, I'd knock a few stars off for this, but I really like this cafe. Yes, we arrived at 1:20pm, but we ordered $40. That should more than cover it if your cook & waitress had to stay 5 extra minutes because of us. Or adjust your hours. If you want your staff to be out of there directly at 1:45pm, then close at 1 so they have time to clean and close up instead of trying to turn customers away during business hours. Even my dad was offended, and he is so easy going that never gets offended. We were all hangry driving back home with our take out.
