After chatting with a few girlfriends about their dr.'s, I did a Google search for the top plastic surgeons/centers in Austin and APSI had a 4.9 rating! I then began to dig through their before/after pics and loved that they did not have that over the top fake look and that they all seemed body proportionate which is exactly what I wanted. While perusing the surgical options, I came across labiaplasty. I had never heard of it, but on RealSelf, the rate was almost 100%. After looking at before/after photos and decided I wanted that surgery as well. I made an appt for a consultation where I met Dr. Justin Booth and his assistant Christine Powell and they answered all of my questions and were patient. I definitely went over the allotted time, but I was never rushed. I have never considered getting breast augmentation and was not aware that surgeons do not go by cup sizes, but CC's. Dr. Booth measured me and gave me the max CC's for my frame and I then tried on the various Sientra silicone aka, gummy bear implants, which helped a lot. While they do not have pics online of labiaplasty, Dr. Booth performs them frequently. Their pricing was better than I expected and I was given a folder full of everything I needed to know about my upcoming surgeries, appt dates, and times, as well as pre & post op instructions. By the time I left, I loved both Dr. Booth and Christine and felt very comfortable with my upcoming surgeries. Prior to my surgeries, I came in to discuss current meds, post op meds, any last minute questions/concerns and etc. The surgery is performed in house at their surgical suite which is located next to the office. As soon as I arrived, everything went as scheduled and the nurses were all awesome. The next day, I received a call from Jenny, Dr. Booth's nurse and was provided her personal cell in the event I was experiencing any adverse pain or reactions. Due to their thorough explanations, I was fully prepared for what to expect and my healing process went accordingly. I am at the 6 week mark and to say I am obsessed with my body is an understatement! I cannot say enough about how grateful I am to Dr. Justin Booth and his entire staff. She did something no one has ever took the time to do for me before. Test the levels of the machine to see what my skin and tolerance level could handle. For instance, level 25 is an average setting a spa would use on a client but being the seasoned adventurer and procedure getter that I am, I was all the way in the high 30s! Imagine what poor results I would have received if she would not have taken the time to determine what works for my skin. The average setting would have yielded poor results on me for sure. I am over the moon with the results of my photofacial. By far and away the best photo facial i have received ever. Right after, I went in for my appointment with CeCe for Botox. It's addicting, I think I may just laser all of my lower region. It feels awesome to just feel clean of hair down there. I legit would do more of my body like arms but my arms are both fully tattooed so I can't. ( Maybe in the future lol) EMILIE IS SO PROFESSIONAL! If you can book with Emilie you 100% should. I originally was uncomfortable with the idea of someone using a laser on my lower area but after working with her for a bit she has made me feel so comfortable I started to move forward with the areas I was nervous about. RESULTS ARE SO GOOD! The results I have seen have been honestly life changing. The confidence boost of not having hair on my back and butt has been so freeing. When I went in for my pre op I didn't even meet with the doctor. I met with a coordinator who got up in the middle of our meeting and interrupted the doctor during a surgery to look at my pictures. I started getting cold feet because they wanted to do a glute tuck and a breast implant exchange with lift at the same time. Not sure how that would provide optimal results when you cant lay on your back after a glute tuck and you can't lay on your stomach after breast surgery. I also never picked out implants, never got any prescriptions, never signed paperwork for the glute tuck because it was a last minute decision, never reserved a surgery room, didn't pay an anesthesiologist and the coordinator couldn't show me any before and after pictures performed by the surgeon of the procedures I was going to have. I started doing some digging and found horror pictures posted by patients on real self and a few of the 4 different yelp pages this place has. I found out the doctor had changed her last name and has sued patients for defamation when posting negative reviews! I cancelled my surgery giving more than 2 weeks notice and they are keeping over $12k of my money because I canceled. I've never seen a cosmetic surgeon so desperate that they charge you over $12k just for booking a surgery and meeting with the coordinator. Even if my attorney doesn't get my money back, I'm just relieved I didn't end up like the women on the yelp pages and real self.
