Spending the weekend in the city with the hubs and this place was recommended to us by a cousin. We are so happy we came because even though this is a speak easy, they not only have great drinks, the food is amazing. The staff here is so nice and they are super accommodating. When not so busy, they take the time come and chat. This bar is small but cozy and perfect for dates. I love how it feels so comfortable to come in and it feels safe. We had a few different kinds of food...here is what we had: The Executive Ground Dawg: burger in a toasted brioche bun, toasted, juicy patty with Flykick truffle chili sauce, crumbles feta, savory sauteed mushrooms, and a bit of spicy Sriracha ketchup. I have to say, as soon as this hits your palate, the flavors just are ahhhhmazing. We could not get enough of it! Chicken wings with Flykick sauce: this was also really good. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. No added breading just all chicken wings and flavor. Sauteed crab fingers: suggested by one of the owners, this was absolutely perfect. I was worried I may have to crack crab shells but they are exactly as described. Crab fingers (claw parts) that have the meat ready to eat and a Cajun garlic butter sauce that would blow your mind. Chicken croquettes: golden balls of deliciousness...so gooooood, make sure to use pair with the sauce that is on the plate, you will not be disappointed. We had some fries and popcorn too which were both good. My drink of choice is the Lychee Caaipirinha, but it is a monthly drink selection so it changes.. their regular drinks are also very good. I have to give it up to Ricky, Patrick, Youngji, and Notch for making our experience just perfect! I will definitely come back and suggest you try it out too if in the area

The only place open after 10pm in the area with food!! The kitchen of many bars close late but not RM 212. Their burger dogs are unique, warm, filling, and yummy. Love the different flavors. Service is helpful, fun, funny, and kind. Great, strong, delicious drinks. Cool speakeasy-esque lounge vibe. Comfy seating and cool art. Love the interior design and vibe. Will be back for sure! This is a Chinatown/FiDi treasure.

Incredible and amazing bar with even more life changing food. Craft cocktails, elevated bites, personal bartenders- what more could you ask for? Ambiance is speakeasy / jazz bar lounge vibes and is a must stop in the SF area.

Ricky and Patrick, the owners of the bar, are super friendly!! My friends and I came after the inauguration ceremony and the most memorable aspect was how quickly the staff was able to take everyone's orders. We got a couple cocktails to try and they were all so good. This place was the only place in the vicinity where we could find both food (mainly vegetarian options) and drinks, and it did not disappoint! The moment I walked in... I was hooked by the menu-- We got the mushroom poutine and it really hit the spot.

This place is such a gem. It's completely renovated with new decor and foods. The ambiance gives you a New Yorker speakeasy vibe. I took my mom out for her first speakeasy and she loved it. All the dishes we ordered are flavorful. You gotta try their fried wings, bone marrow, pate, scallops, shrimps... just try everything. It's delicious. My mom even ordered a little sweet cocktail and turned up hehehe. We feel like vip coming in here and got greeted. I highly recommend this spot!! Please add me on Yelp if you like my vibe or IG too @imjennine

Great place to hang out with your girlfriends or buddy. It's cozy and their cocktails are super delicious ! They also serve small bites and are very tasty. The owner is super friendly. And the bartender is superb !! Been here many times with friends and it's definitely a TGIF place to go if you wanna just hang out and chill !!

This place is a godsend. Amazing cocktails Great customer service Killer food Seriously... Ricky and his team are killing it.

    Great drinks, better company

What an amazing experience! It was a double-birthday celebration with some beloved friends at our new favorite bar After a night of plate-fulls in china town, we popped into RM 212 for a night cap and the next step on our nights journey. The place is cozy & owners were so welcoming. Location is a bit smaller, with a max capacity of 40 people. Ricky and Patrick (Brothers / Bar Owners) explained the drinks and made recommendations based on our flavor profiles ; Strongly feel like you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Ambiance : 4.5 / 5 (because of limited capacity) Drinks : 5/5 (you can't go wrong! Parking : 3/5 (2/5 if you're from out of town, it's Chinatown, it's gonna be tough, use a parking garage! 4/5 if you're a local, you're used to this)

    Applejack Rabbit

An absolute gem. I was able to try the Applejack Rabbit and LES Lychee which were wonderfully crafted. Thank you so much Patrick for being a great host and bartender while providing my friends and I with a beautiful time.

So it's been a while since I've been back due to the remodeling and new chef. I can say, they did a great job. Their ambiance is so relaxing and chill. It's like you're warped in the past to a speak easy kinda vibe. Of course host, service and bartender are awesome as always so I'm glad that didn't change. The place isn't big so it's good to get there early. Now onto the food. It is also really good with a new yummy menu. I've been back a few times and to their grand opening so the menu does change. I'm glade they kept the fries, burger, scallop sashimi and cauliflower. All my favorite! Must get is their fries! It tastes like high end McDonald fries...so super good! Oh! Almost forgot to mention and I know this sound silly to write about but......I love their bathroom! Especially with the full body mirror lol. Overall .. must check out!

While we were outside, we made friendly conversation with a bartender. I overheard another bartender come out for a cigarette and call him by name, so I jokingly used his name while asking if we could come in. At that point, the bartender became extremely aggressive, got in my face, and said, "Say his name one more f*cking time," repeatedly. I was genuinely confused and asked what she meant. Shortly after, a friend who was already inside came out simply to check on us and see why we were still outside. The bartender then told her to "get the f*ck out of my face" and instructed staff not to let her or us in, even though my friend hadn't done anything wrong. It was so confusing and extremely inappropriate. The behavior was unnecessarily hostile and disrespectful. This bar does not treat its customers with basic courtesy, and that bartender showed zero professionalism or customer service skills.

It was founded by Anton "Tony" Nikitovich and quickly became a gathering place for the neighborhood's Italian and Croatian communities, where people came to swap stories, argue politics, and enjoy a stiff drink after a long day. And honestly, that tradition carried on well into the years when many of us became regulars. I hadn't been back for a few years until recently, when I decided to stop in again. The bar wasn't overly busy, but a handful of neighborhood folks were sitting at the counter, trading stories over their drinks. It felt instantly familiar. Not much has changed since the early 2000s when I used to come here regularly, and that's exactly what makes Tony Nik's special. Step inside, and it still feels like a mid-century film set: tufted leather seating, a long wooden bar that's seen nearly a century of San Francisco history, and that iconic neon sign glowing outside. While much of the city has reinvented itself again and again, Tony Nik's somehow held onto its soul. It's a grown-up bar without being stuffy, no loud club music, no trendy gimmicks, just well-made cocktails, a classic jukebox, and an atmosphere that feels earned rather than manufactured. The bar stayed in the Nikitovich family for decades, and the current owners were wise enough to preserve both the name and the vintage character Tony originally created. It's one of those rare places that reminds you what North Beach used to be, and, thankfully, still is.
