I want to start by saying the crew clearly worked hard--this was a big job that took about five days, and we appreciated the effort they put in. Unfortunately, the quality of the work did not match the time and effort. Three of the large evergreen trees were planted noticeably crooked, and the arborvitae were not planted deep enough. As a result, eight of them died within a relatively short time. When I contacted the company to address the issue, they initially agreed to replace the dead arborvitae. However, after that, communication stopped. They never followed through, did not show up as promised, and ultimately stopped responding to texts altogether. It's disappointing because we invested a significant amount in this project and expected both proper installation and basic follow-up service. While the crew was hardworking, the end result and lack of accountability make it difficult to recommend this company.

He decided to use bags of concrete and a concrete mixer instead of bringing in a truck. It was an absolute mess. They would work for an hour or so a day if they showed up. The day that they poured the owner had a tantrum and crumpled up the whole thing and left it in a bigger mess than it should have been. This was the Thursday before Labor Day weekend. After we notified him that he was done and that we would be finding another concrete company he offered to get a concrete truck. This was too late. Labor Day weekend we were left with a horrible mess.

Israel was the point person and was always available to consult with. Actually, everyone including Israel, his brothers and sister Sonia were amazing to work with. Israel provided a couple of rounds of 3D rendered drawings that quite frankly sealed the deal. We knew exactly what we were going to end up with based on the concept drawings. The crew worked exceptionally hard over the 9 days and held an exacting attention to details. We requested a curving patio, so there were hundreds of stone cuts required. I told Israel that we had problems with chipmunks in the past, so they placed metal screens down under ground about 12 inches deep all around the outside of the patio edge. Arne's convinced us to go with the low voltage lighting and I'm so glad we did as it provides great ambiance at night. The gas fire pit installation was also first class. Every day the team did a great job of cleaning up both in the back yard and street. We included 8 Arborvitaes in the order. The guys planted all 8 tree's and removed a lot of grass to created planting beds for me to do future landscaping. We are very happy with the results and would highly recommend Arne's Paving to anyone looking for a quality patio contractor.
