RJB were contacted by our roadside assistance. Service was very good. Prompt, intelligent and courteous. Joe was extremely helpful.

On May 20, 2021 after agreeing to the address for my car battery jump service request with the RJB Service Station/Towing through my insurance company, I waited thirty minutes for their tow truck driver to cover the 22 minute distance of where I was located, for their driver to call me to accuse me of providing the wrong address. There was consensus on my address with the RJB Towing office. The driver was argumentative and I told him I didn't want to argue but needed him to aid me. The driver said he was coming. Instead the driver cancels my service request with my insurance company right after I spoke with the driver. I called my insurance company right after this call with the tow truck driver and the insurance company tells me that RJB canceled on me. I was on the service road. What would happen if I was on the highway? Extremely rude, unprofessional and dangerous. They are supposed to know the area they service. The driver never made an earnest attempt to find the location where I was especially as I explained it to him like a baby. RJB Service Station/Towing has no conscience leaving a woman on the side of the road and being disrespectful stating I gave the wrong address when the tow truck driver and his RJB office dispatcher don't communicate properly? And having the gall to cancel my service call without consulting with me especially when he said he was coming to help me! My regular mechanic made a courtesy ride and found me and started my car in two minutes. RJB Towing-you should be put out of business. And I will let my insurance company know! read more

This company is unreliable and irresponsible! They were subcontracted by State Farm to tow my car to a nearby shop, the shop didn't accept the car so they took it to their lot and when I called back 15 minutes later to give them the new shop they didn't answer 3 phone calls, 2 text messages, and a voicemail. I called Start Farm who said they communicated with someone at the company where the car needed to be taken (15 minutes away). I call State Farm 2 hours later when the shop was closing to see where my car was and the tow company still had it in their lot! State Farm tells me it'll be moved first thing this morning at 7am but its 12pm and it's still not at the auto body shop. Start Farm calls RJB, apparently they were unsure about the address they needed to take the car but didn't bother calling anyone, just left my car abandoned in their lot yet again. On top of dealing with the stress of being in an accident, I have to call State Farm 3 times a day to try to figure out where my car is and why it's not in the shop yet. WORST COMPANY EVER!!!! read more

What I see is a trend when it comes to GEICO contract roadside assistance. When sent this past weekend to help us fix a flat, the driver arrived in a service van with hardly any tools. My husband needed tools to remove the spare wheel cover which was stuck. When we cobbled together what was in the van, my husband made some headway breaking the cover off. In the meantime, Bob requested assistance of the owners son, whom arrived with even less tools in his pickup. After nearly 2 hours of struggle, which was now 3 hours for us, since we tried to remove the cover on our own before requesting roadside assistance, Bob and the son offered to tow us to a 24/7 tire repair place for $$$ (or, ya know, you can call GEICO and tell them to change the call to a tow and dispatch us). Then they go on to tell us they would tow the 4 of us while riding in our van attached to the tow truck (ugh dangerous, if not illegal). I looked up the business in YELP and it was less than reputable. You send out 2 service people without ANY tools and then offer to dangerously tow us to some crap tire repair place? Smells like a scam if you ask me. I believe that they purposefully come out ill-equipped thinking that you'll be so desperate, you'll not see through their "game". I can't quite explain in writing how this went down, but after reading these YELP reviews, especially the ones where they were GEICO dispatched, I know I am right. The folks that I had the pleasure of interacting, Bob and Benny was very pleasant and worked diligently to resolve the issues with my beloved 200K-mile old accord! With snow on the ground and a cold wind blowing, my car managed to overheat and die in the middle of a road around midnight, blocking anyone who might care to pass. Geico arranged for a tow from RJB, and a sweet driver named Manny arrived in 15 to 20 minutes. Despite the angle he was able to singlehandedly hoist my car up on the platform of a monster tow truck, and then helped me offload a full haul of groceries at home before taking my car to the repair shop. I got a call at 9 am the next morning with an estimate, and the repairs were done quickly and well. Stellar service gets five stars. A fair, competent and friendly repair shop that's open 24 hours - who knew! read more

Steve with RJB service was my hero while during my 80 mile commute home I blew out a tire. In a lighting rain storm he came to my rescue. My car insurance road side assistance contacted them and he showed up within a half hour. I could've realistically changed the tire myself but why pay for the option. RJB Was dispatched to fix my teen's flat tire as part of my Geico coverage. My teen gave very explicit location information including distance from a cross street and a major landmark. They had trouble locating him and claimed Geico failed to provide the proper location (which may be true, but not my son's fault) When they arrived they lectured him about how to give information and were extremely rude, unprofessional and intimidating. When I called dispatch to express my concerns over how they treated a teen, alone with a flat at night, they were combative with me as well. Worst Experience Ever! ZERO STARS! Highly Advise against using this company! On January 3rd 2015 my wifes car slid on some snow and ran off the road. This tow company was called by my insurance company and I was told it would take 60mins for them to arrive. There were 2 other cars involved in a separate accident and a 4th that crashed while we were waiting. The police showed up along with a separate tow company. This other Tow truck lined up to pull my car out but I explained to them and the police that I had already called for help and that this other company can go ahead and help the others who needed it while we waited. We continued to wait in the snow and then rain for help. Sand trucks had arrived, the road was closed, and the other cars involved were all helped. Finally after a full 60mins or more RJB towing arrived. The driver spoke to the police and asked them who needed help, the officer pointed to me and the driver walked over. I pointed out my car to him. He walked over and took a look then immediately made a phone call and walked off to the side. After he was done he came back and explained that the other side of the hill was not salted and that he could not help me until a truck came back and placed more salt. I explained how the trucks had JUST came by hence why the snow is melted and if he wanted to ask the police officer for proof of this or see if and when they would be coming back. Me and the driver began walking back towards the officer in the direction of his truck. The driver then walked towards the direction of his truck, got inside, and drove away. HE LEFT! I then called the business office and asked them to explain what the hell just happen, but once I told him that I don't want the driver to come back now that he abandoned us, they did not seem interested any more in my complaint. I doubt any corrective action was taken against this driver. I have a police report of this incident, my complaint filed with the police and my complaint filed with my insurance company. In the end we had the tow truck that was already on the scene for 40 mins pull our car out and tow us to where we needed to go. I have never had such a bad experience. My complaint is on file with my insurance company and I plan on following up to see what action is taken. Be warned. I have never had an experience like this during an emergency situation WITH the police already on the scene. This driver simply did not care. I am only thankful my infant was not with us when this happen. read more

I have been waiting for this towing company for 6 hours. They kept sending text messages stating later arrival times. Finally, after the third time I called, they said they thought the tow had been cancelled. Why in the world would I cancel? Why wouldn't they send a text confirming a cancel if I had cancelled? I'm so beyond upset. Missed an entire day of work and still no tow. read more

RJB has been the BEST. I've never had such a positive experience with a garage in my entire life driving. We have 2 cars-one newer, one older, and they have been amazing with everything from checkups to last minute emergencies. I've found very rarely is a car problem planned and they have been great about getting you in and getting you out doing the most important things without overcharging. They have worked with us to make sure our cars are in the best condition but without getting unnecessary repairs done. We're lucky to have found them. read more

We get road service with geico. Bob showed up in about 20 minutes and I asked him for a tow to my mechanic in White Plains. He looked at the car, said it was the alternator. He actually got the car moving. He said he was a mechanic and offered to fix it. I said no. Called my mechanic and got a price. Bob was less than half of that. I am now a loyal customer of Bob and rob towing. read more

If you need a tow, this is the place to go! I didn't realize they did 24 hour towing, or else I would have called them a lot sooner. After going through hell with another towing company, and left stranded for 5 hours, we found RJB. They were extremely helpful, got to us quick and had great pricing (needed a tow from New York to CT) I just wish I called them earlier!! read more

I called geico at 5:00 i received a text at 5:17 that they'd be there in 60 minutes. At 6:00pm i get a call from the driver that he'd arrive 30mins after the initial estimated. At this point I'm livid. But i get an eta text 6:37pm. It is 6:45 and he says he'll be there shortly. They guy arrives with a horrible attitude at 7:00 and insist that my wheels are locked. At this point I'm searching high and low for the "lock" which i know i don't have.. he tells me my car has to be towed since i don't have the right equipment. He puts my car up on the flat bed and i call my mechanic because i just had my breaks changed. My mechanic then explains that my tires aren't locked there are plastic caps that can be taken off with a screwdriver. He ask to speak with the gentleman and the driver say no "i don't have to speak to him you can look at your wheel for yourself" he tells and becomes upset and plucks them off takes my car down and changes the tire. This is beyond my understanding that you call up a customer 15mins before the service is due and just cancel the whole thing after just one minute of conversation. In addition, have such a snarky and and even childish attitude at 5am in the morning. The first thing I hear from him (Rich) is, 'your car is on the second floor of a garage? Who is going to push the car down?' And keeps on repeating that question as if that is my fault that my car got stuck there. Even after politely asking that it is not professional for you to say that in such way first thing to the customer, he became even more childish and said, 'I can't work with someone who calls me unprofessional' and cancelled the order. This added immense amount of stress onto my car problem, and everyone knows how stressful disabled car problems can already be. I got connected to this company through my Volkswagen and I am not sure if they only get jobs through this way, not caring what experience their customers walk away with. If you have a choice in choosing your company, I would suggest you stay away from this one. read more

This company is unethical. I went to have dinner and see a movie in Port Chester and this company BOOTED my car for being parked for more than 4 hours . It cost me $75.00 to remove the boot and it had to be cash. I may be legal but its a pretty unethical way to make a buck read more

My experience with RJB was incredible. They were so professional and helpful. I have a sports car and the driver Ritchie was very careful loading it onto the flatbed. The dispatcher Tony arranged a car service to take us home from the service station. They had to store my car overnight before taking it to the dealer, and Tony called the next morning to let me know when the car was in transit and again once it was safely delivered to the dealer. A very thorough operation. I have put their contact details in my phone to call them for towing assistance if I ever need it again. read more
