Up until then she was 5 stars. This happened again over the summer, gone for a month. No warning, no contacting her clients to let them know she was out of town. She said I could always get hold of her on FB or Yelp, but that didn't work either. Once more, December 2025. I contacted her through Yelp and 2 weeks later her regular assistant Chad contacted me. Chad usually handles the kitchen and laundry room. Elizabeth handles the dusting, vacuuming upstairs and down, and the bathrooms, all for $200/month. This time, Chad handled the regular work he does, but not up to par on the stovetop. He did vacuum the living room, did not do the stairs, upstairs hallway, or either bathroom. Most of the dusting wasn't done, only 2 table surfaces in the living room. He had me pay him directly the $200, and trusting he'd gotten everything I did so. When I found out later that he hadn't done all the work, I contacted Elizabeth through both forums. No reply. I'm seeing other reviews that are having similar experiences. Chad said he was trying not to lose clientele; too late now. I'm hiring someone else.

I needed someone quickly so we could at least set up the kitchen & bathrooms when the moving truck came but I got busy so I wasn't paying attention to the work which is my fault. I find people get more work done if u stay out of their way but that didn't work here. I think if I would have managed & checked the work as she did it - the outcome maybe could have been better. She said she could fit us in for 4 hours worth of work for $160. I thought that would get the kitchen done & a bathroom since they were not that dirty. I gave her a few things that were the most important assuming she would do them first but they didn't get done or she just didn't do a very good job. I needed the refrigerator cleaned out & at least the toilet seats cleaned but she didn't get to the toilet seats. In fact when she was done I asked her about it & she said she didn't get to them. I asked her if she could at least run a towel over them with cleaner because I didn't have anything to wipe them down yet & we needed to use them & she told me No! She was late to pick her kid up. That was shocking! So when we got ready to unpack the kitchen it wasn't done. She had said she saw mouse droppings & we should call someone out but I had seen her vacuuming the top of the cubbards so I thought she had cleaned it up but no - there was droppings in the cubbard so i don't know if she missed them or left them because she didn't want to clean it. This meant we had to re-vacuum everything. It looks like she cleaned some shelves in the fridge but didn't do the walls or the bottoms so we had to take it all apart & redo that as well. She did do the floors. I assumed she had finished - we didn't really need the floors done since we were moving furniture in & they just got dirty anyways. So I ended up costing my mom $ and she had to redo the work. She also didn't have receipts on her but said she could email me. I asked her to just write one out but she wouldn't. She was so nice when she got there but I just thought maybe she was tired from the work but she wasn't as kind at the end. Maybe she was having a bad day? She does have a great review on here which is why I hired her & I only used her this one day so I'm not sure what happened but I won't use her again. I've been pretty upset about the whole thing so I waited over a week to write a review. But again I just gave her a few things I needed done & I didn't watch to make sure she was getting the priority items done & if I had managed her work or watched to see what was going on I would think it would have gotten done so that was a bad decision on my part. I'm finding when u hire people here to do work it goes better if u can be there to manage the project. We don't need to do that in CA. It's just a little different here - there isn't the oversight & licensing CA has so it takes some getting use to when you hire people here to do things.

I really like the fact that they do their best to assign a regular service provider instead of a "revolving door" of everyone that works for them. They are cost effective in that they are considerably less expensive than our previous service provider.
