He was incredibly quick to…read morecommunicate and got us on the schedule right away, so we ended up having essentially no downtime with our garage door. He came out to replace a broken spring and do a tune-up, and while working on the door he found a bent sprocket on the garage door opener. He showed my husband exactly what was happening and explained how the bad spring had been putting extra strain on the opener, stretching the chain and damaging the sprocket. There was no vague "you need this too" sales pitch. He showed us the problem, explained why it needed to be addressed, and only did the work that was necessary. The garage door is now fixed and running noticeably quieter than before. I also really appreciated his communication. I made the mistake of using Yelp's "request a quote" feature and got absolutely bombarded by some companies, with multiple calls and messages over a 24-hour period. Ramirez's Discount Garage Doors did none of that. His communication was prompt and helpful without being excessive, and there was no aggressive sales pitch over the phone. Affordable, honest, quick, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. 10/10 experience. I would absolutely recommend Ramirez's Discount Garage Doors for any garage door repair.

We moved into a house with a very loud, clunky chain drive garage door motor. For almost 3 years…read morewe have lived with it, to the point my husband & I both were about ready to replace the entire thing (door and motor bc the door would stick & pull on the bar when it initially opened). We had someone come out about a year ago, who told my husband there was nothing wrong with it, it was just the way chain drives are, & if anything could help we needed to replace the rubber on the bottom of the door, bc in the sun it was melting. Fast forward to a year later. I found Damian with Faithful Hands Garage Door Service thru Offer Up. I text him, told him what the issue was & at this point my husband & I wanted a new motor that was damn near silent. He text me back same day, within an hour or so, gave me a price & about a week later we set up an appointment to have the work done. Damian was communicative about his time arriving & was right on time, was professional & beyond knowledgable - As soon as I told him the issue & showed him the current set up, he knew immediately what was wrong and not only what needed to be done, but showed me and explained everything in easy language that I could not only see but understand. Damian knew exactly what the issue was, was quick to make the required recommendations, was totally upfront with the pricing, went to get the part & was back in no time at all, & had the entire job completed in about an hour. 1/2. He installed a brand new spring, brand new garage motor, programed a new key pad & programed all the remotes we had for our other vehicles. His price was very reasonable, his work is top notch, and I definitely recommend Damian with Faithful Hands Garage Door Service to anyone that would need garage door assistance. If you are looking for garage door work, or a new garage door, I 100% recommend Faithful Hands Garage Door Service. 100% trustworthy, honest, and does quality work, along with being very open, upfront and doesn't try to upsell or do something that isn't needed. They also provide a warranty with any work they do. Win Win company.

The screws holding my 20 year old door, he calls the "tank", to the lift motor ripped out. I thought this is gonna cost me! Around $2K it turns out. There's just no way I could swing that. So I finally texted him to just take a look at it. (He likes to text)We scheduled a 7AM appt and when he had a look, he said he was glad we didn't go for a new one. This one will probably last another two decades. All it needed was four new screws to replace the two that the installers put in, and a minor spring adjustment. All for the price of a few drinks and a dinner for two. Oh, and don't fall for the You Tubers that say they can replace a door panel, unless you just moved in and had to crunch a new door in the process.
