The boudin balls needed a little work but Ivory was very receptive to feedback. Mimosas were good too. I had the cranberry, it came in a carafe. We finished 2 of them between the 3 of us throughout our meal. I ordered the shrimp and grits. Grits were excellent, shrimp was a little salty but if I mixed with the grits, worked out well. We had the endless catfish and amazed that it just kept coming. Also ordered a special priced wing and waffle dish that was 2 wings and a waffle, a little snack. By time we left, all tables were full. Make reservations is my best suggestion. I will go back. I enjoyed the food.

I ordered "The Convention" breakfast which was "Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Breakfast Potatoes and Buttermilk Biscuits" - it came with literally 20 tiny sausage patties and biscuits total. So one tiny sausage and biscuit per person. I didn't count the bacon but it was a similarly stingy portion. No one had more than two pieces. The eggs were bland. The potatoes were actually good. But overall, it was so embarrassing to have the food show up and it be these tiny trays of hardly any food for over $400. I would have been better off ordering individual dishes for each person from a local restaurant. I thought with the high Yelp and Google reviews I saw, this would be a safe bet! I also ordered a 20 mini pastries for $3.25 each which were like pastries you get at a 7/11. At least if you are overcharging, let the food be good and not like you unwrapped pastries from a Costco haul. Worst of all was the coffee which was watered down and disgusting. Everyone threw theirs out so I just dumped it. What an utter waste of money. Also they only sent 8 cups with the coffee even though the breakfast was for 20. Stingy and bland all around. If you are catering for a small group, please save yourself the trouble and embarrassment and just order takeout from a local restaurant. All I took was the coffee which you can tell even from the picture was watery. ***The menu listed the items but didn't say only 1, 1oz piece of bacon per person - that's absolutely absurd for a normal breakfast portion. She was worried that her friends would not like the food, however it was a hit. The kids raved about the food and it was so delicious and it was also beautiful on the plate. My daughter was so thrilled . They provided excellent service and everything went so smoothly. Our DJ told us that it was some of the best food he had ever had at a party or wedding.
