There's a grocery store across the street that used to be Pathmark, Acme, and now Lidl. And although those supermarkets have come and gone over the years, Farmer's Market has remained! There's always workers restocking the shelves and they offer a wide variety of produce. They also sell flowers and we've bought beautiful bouquets from them before. COVID Measures: staff have masks on and there are dividers at the register with markings on the floor to stay 6ft apart. No hand sanitizer available, and it was definitely more crowded than it should have been. Overall best local place to get your fruits and veggies.

It's a little hard to miss, however you can see it once you've entered the shopping center. Family owned and operated since 1987. Think of Whole Foods, much less busy, not a whole lot of rushing (which is a good thing) and you take your time to browse around the smaller store. The quiet and calm was cool, for a Thursday evening, not too shabby. We came across a lot of products we haven't seen before. Great options from a vast majority of gluten free to bring your own containers for pasta to help reduce waste. Plenty of signs to look at and read what we can do to be proactive with our bodies, lifestyle and the environment. I loved knowing this was a smaller scale. There's a dairy stand, and I've picked up a pound of fresh ricotta for $5. They also sell a lemon yogurt that has several of my co-workers addicted; I'm afraid to try it. The bread stand plays fun music and sells a wonderful, redolent selection - baguettes, kale asiago breads, tomato onion breads, rustic breads, and so on. You can still pick up potted herbs, and there is a fantastic variety of seasonal vegetables. Currently, the winter squash look pretty awesome. I'm a bit biased because I work with CHALK, but do come check out the CHALK stand! She has easy and nutritious recipes and a simple, fun lesson every week. Honey, kale, peppers - you name it, she's probably done a highlight of it at some point in time. The Greenmarket runs every Tuesday from 8am-4:30pm until late November. Credit/debit cards are charged an additional $2 to help offset the costs of free fruits & vegetables for EBT holders. (Oooh - if you have EBT, you get $2 in greenbucks for every $5 you spend). So if you don't have EBT, you can either bring cash or donate $2 to EBT when paying via credit/debit.
