For a medical doctor specializing in aesthetic medicine and self proclaimed face artist Dr Jeannine appears to be very disengaged with patient treatment, leaving out an essential part of her personal medical evaluation and consultation, to be conducted single handedly by Cher, an individual which I'm not clear what her medical aesthetics degree is. I had a one-on-one consult with only Cher where she a. discussed filler placement b. amount of filler c. total cost, yet was incapable to tell me what type of filler was to be used. Thus, leads me to question how much of this clinical process can be undertaken by just the "consultant" since Dr Jeannine was not present in the room or involved in the assessment of my face. There was zero discussion between Dr Jeannine and I, she was never part of my consultation process, this was extremely disconcerting. Having expressed my discontent over the outcome of the treatment to Dr Jeannine via email she stated "Cher and I have worked together for 12 plus years, she and I are in close agreement after having worked together for so long" A second email was sent to Dr Jeannine further addressing how her inappropriate and unprofessional behavior contributed to this occurring. Having to rely on Cher to convey what I could have best expressed to her, is suspiciously unsettling, I also did mention how I was charged for a service that was never rendered, but was long ignored. I had never experienced this level of dynamics at any other aesthetics medical office. It's a shame and troublesome to say the least how Dr Jeannine is allowing her business to be managed. Dr. Jeannine Kofford is amazing! She has so much experience with lasers and injectibles that I'll never go anywhere else. I have what is considered to be "severe" acne scarring. Over the years, I've had 3 Erbium laser peels performed at Celibre in Orange, CA, 2 MixTo Fraxel laser peels performed by a Facial Plastic Surgeon in Laguna Woods, CA and even a Dermabrasion (not microdermabrasion) performed by a plastic surgeon WAY back in 2001. None of these expensive, painful procedures even put a dent in my severe acne scars. My mom started getting fillers done at Riviera and mentioned to me all of the awards Dr. Kofford has won. I went in for a consult and I was very impressed with her knowledge of skin disorders and scarring. At the time I actually had a tiny little cyst on my shoulder blade (size of a frozen pea) that had been bugging me over the years and she was able to remove it for me that same day. Instead of making an incision and digging it out (like Dr. Pimple Popper on YouTube does) she first went over it with a laser then was able to remove it. It healed beautifully! Literally no scarring or sutures needed. I was so impressed with her advanced technique I knew I'd get results if I let her work on my facial acne scars, even though I've had extensive procedures performed in the past by numerous physicians with zero improvement. Dr. Kofford has recently treated my worst scars with Bellafill and it has made a significant improvement in my skin. I'm having her do a laser on my skin next. I'm already beyond thrilled at my results! I couldn't be happier! I have been going to see Dr. Jeannine for years. Literally. I lived in the OC for a long time and she was my go to for Botox and filler. Now that I live in Santa Barbara, she is still my go to. Matter of fact, I saw her last week to have a laser treatment to address brown aging/sun spots on my face. She uses the newest laser technology and it was a breeze. I had my Botox done mid January 2018 and within five weeks my Botox was gone!!!! I wasn't happy from the begging...and went for touch up and The fifty unit that was to be injected !!! didn't seems right!! I spent $500 for five weeks of Botox this has never happened to me Botox should last 3 to 4 months.I don't recommend this place!! read more

Dr Koffard is the Michael Jordan of esthetics. I'm 65 an ocean athlete and look amazing. After years of uneven lips with a top notch Laguna derm Dr Koffard gave me perfect even lips. Last week Friday I had fillers ..turned 65 and wanted a boost. Holy mole she lifted it all up giving me a jawline and youthful everything. They use laughing gas rather than more needles and numbness which is heaven. No pain whatsoever. Her staff worked hard to prevent bruising I was attending an event that night . NO bruising occurred and its Monday now. The kicker is I have a hump on my nose and to my shock she hid the hump and raised the tip. I have for the first time a gorgeous profile .. What an amazing experience! I'm currently on a very aggressive acne regimen with my doctor and went in to see Lynne Brown, NP, with regard to a laser treatment that would not interfere or irritate my skin with the current medication and topicals I am on. Lynne used the Cutera Genesis and Excel V laser treatment on me. It was literally a 15-20 minute process that was virtually painless. Best of all, I did not have to discontinue any of my current regimen prior and there was NO downtime after. She put some sunscreen on my face when I was done and I went right back to work. I have been coming here for years for Botox, fillers, and now laser hair removal. I was getting my laser hair removal from a staff member that had offered to charge me $250 instead of $300 per session if I agreed to six sessions. I agreed and begin the process. I am now two sessions in. My third session is supposed to be Wednesday. They called me to let me know that that staff member no longer works there and they will be charging me $50 more per session now. I told them that I had already agreed on the price I was offered and that's why I started the 6 session process. They were unwilling to honor what I was already offered. Pathetic. I literally came here every few months. Horrible way to treat loyal clients. I'm now looking for a new place if anyone has recommendations for Botox and laser hair removal. read more
