By using the printed guide maps coupled with our map apps we navigated the twists & turns without any significant issues. The trails are well groomed and fairly well marked. The large park has 3-4 covered picnic pavilions and a canoe launch ramp. Located midway between Columbia TN & Santa Fe TN off of TN-7.

Aspen Grove Park is tucked away just off of Cool Springs Boulevard between business/office space…read moreand retail plazas. The plaza it sits directly behind houses McAlisters, Moe's, Burger Up, PF Changs and more. The main entrance is located on Aspen Grove even though the address shows Cool Springs Boulevard. When you pull in, you pull into a small parking lot, a brick building that houses the restrooms to the left, start of the trails to the right and then a nice brick pavilion that houses several picnic and patio tables, a fireplace/grill and a little free library station. Just beyond the pavilion is a grassy area and playground. The park has one main trail with four off shoots creating 5 paved trails each ranging from .10/mile to .60 mile. If you make a few laps you can make a nice distance out of it. Most of the trails end and start in the park area, however one ends/starts near Core Life eatery. All the paths are paved and 90% of the trails are covered in foliage. The trails also feature a few cool bridges that cross the creek, and there are a few grill/picnic areas along the trails as well. I have driven by this park for years now, and honestly am surprised at the space and trails. I am impressed with the simple layout, covered trails, cute creek and the calm that it brings, even in the middle of retail and office suites!

Located along the beautiful Duck River--one of the most biodiverse rivers in the world--this park offers the perfect mix of relaxation, adventure, and family fun without feeling overcrowded. The campground is top-notch: spacious, well-maintained RV sites with concrete pads, reliable Wi-Fi, clean and modern bathhouses, and plenty of peaceful wooded tent and primitive options (including some great backcountry sites for those seeking more solitude). We loved the thoughtful amenities like the camp store, playgrounds, splash pad, and even a nature play area that kept the kids entertained for hours. Activities here are incredibly diverse. We hiked several of the easy-to-moderate trails, including the scenic ones along the Duck River with observation decks overlooking wetlands teeming with wildlife. The 18-hole disc golf course is one of the best we've played in Tennessee--free and well-designed. There's also a cute local book box where you can leave a book or take one home to try! There are grills to use, plus a small creek and a walking trail that connects to the adjacent neighborhood. Surrounded by a paved walking trail (just shy of 1/3 mile long), the playground has plenty of equipment for little ones on up through elementary & middle school set on wood chips. There are several benches around the edges of the play area for parents to relax (unless you're on swing-pushing duty) while watching their kids run off some energy!
