Riverwalk Floral Designs SAVED my wedding flowers!! My husband and I made the mistake of ordering from Ava's Flowers for our wedding this past December. The day before my wedding, I was told that Ava's hadn't been able to ship my flowers due to an error on their end. I was devastated and panicked! My mother, sister, bridesmaid, and I found a local florist shop near the Drury Plaza we were staying at. We walked in with little hopes - looking at the available flowers trying to see what we could work with. When the store owner greeted us, I think we all kind of rolled our eyes due to the recent bad experience we had. I didn't want to have to shell out another $300+ for saying the word "wedding" when we only had a day to prepare anything. At this point we had debated going to Walmart because the venue I was getting married at only allowed live flowers. I'm not going to lie - all but my bridesmaid were a little short and anxious about what to expect. We told him straight up that we couldn't afford to pay outlandish prices for something that wasn't worth the cost. My bridesmaid reeled us back to reality, and the very patient store owner walked us through everything and what to expect. He was able to assure us that our flowers would be done, and that they would look beautiful and match our winter theme. Reviewer. He made magic happen, and the bouquets and boutonnieres were simply beautiful. He called other shops to see what flowers they had in stock. The horrible experience I had at Ava's was wiped away when I saw how hard this person was working for a bride who came in with a cold shoulder. Everyone kept their flowers - and we got a lot of compliments on them! I was amazed at what a one-day, very affordable (I think it was $100-$150 for a bridal bouquet, 3 bridesmaids bouquets, 3 groomsmen boutonnieres, groomsmen boutonniere, 2 father boutonnieres, and 2 mother corsages) wedding flowers could be! THANK YOU! read more

I called about an hour or so before they closed hoping they could deliver a short and colorful arrangement to my hotel room, and they were quick, courteous, and delivered exactly what I wanted. Wife was delighted! So happy I was able to find them! read more

I wanted a local San Antonio florist to create a special Ikebana arrangement for my author signing table the Historical Novel Society, where I was signing my debut novel. Kevin went above and beyond! He made two lovely samples for me to choose from a few days ahead. On delivery day, he not only delivered an exquisite arrangement, but had gifted me a book stand to use that he had adorned with fresh flowers. I'm overwhelmed by his tremendous customer service, talent, and kindness. Highly recommend Kevin and Riverwalk Floral Designs. Now, if only they were a bit closer to my home in Delaware! 2 Stars for the friendly service and communication and weekend delivery however what i asked for and what was actually delivered was extremely disappointing. Money lost now having to purchase more to replace the monstrosity that was suppose to be a dozen roses uggg . I will not recommend for anyone to pay for them before you see the end product. Just lost a customer that orders flowers regularly. Location of delivery San Antonio Tx read more

Barbara and team delivered in my moment of need. I only gave them one day's notice but they were able to exceed my expectations, well within budget. Best of all was the personalized service. Barbara gave me her personal phone number and texted me updates on ETA of delivery. I would definitely recommend this florist to folks in the area. read more

Great job putting a bouquet of flowers together as a walk in customer. Our co worker loved them when we presented them to her at the awards dinner. read more

One of the best experiences ordering flowers, I love that I could use their website and then call and speak to a real person to make sure I am ordering exactly what I want. They took the order and delivered it at the exact time I requested the next day. Flowers were beautiful and she loved them. I had used a 1-800 florist before and the flowers came in a box, just not right, they never said some assembly was required! I highly recommend this place and I will use them again. Living in Cedar Park TX, it's nice to have a local florist in SA that I can depend on. I have used Yelp before but this is my first Yelp review, I was so impressed that I signed up :) read more

I had a great experience here, Kevin and Bob worked with me to get a perfect look! 6/5 stars! Highly recommended!

It's looking for flowers for Mother's Day i was on a bit of a time crunch since I was at work, so went on lunch break to get followers hoping not too spend too much money. Which I did not! I requested to get some flowers wrapped since I already had a vase and the gentleman put together a beautiful bouquet of flowers full of color. Very affordable and great service! I will return and recommend them in the future. My grandmother definitely loved them. read more

A great flower shop! We live in Houston and my mom was in San Antonio for a girls trip.. my dad wanted to surprise her with some flowers waiting in her hotel room. I called up Riverwalk Floral Designs told the owner a little about what we were wanting and gave him a price point to work with.. he then took the arrangement over to the hotel and had concierge put it in her room. The arrangement was BEAUTIFUL! Working with Riverwalk Floral Designs was such a breeze even with a small time frame! read more

Absolutely 5 Stars deserved! Rick and Kevin (forgive me if I have the names wrong) were so patient with me and professional in our multitude of phone calls. I was trying to send last minute flowers to my sister at her new job for her birthday and had the wrong location. They tried to deliver twice, at my stubborn behest and, after my final discovery of the correct location, delivered them the next day for no extra charge. All I can say is thank you so much - she loved the flowers! It is not often you find genuinely kind folks but the guys at this flower shop certainly are. HIGHLY recommend and will use again (when I forget her birthday next year). read more

5 Stars simply isn't enough for Riverwalk Floral. Rick was wonderful! They were able to put together a bridal bouquet and a boutonniere in two days time for a wedding. OMG! When I called months ago - early on a Monday morning - explaining we were having a family reunion to honor my parents (Celebration of Lives)...and that my dad had ALWAYS given our Mom assorted gladiolas. I gave the date and location (at their favorite Riverwalk restaurant) & said the 'glass' had to be in FULL bloom. When delivered on Saturday - I almost started crying. They were spectacular! Thank you Riverwalk Florist for understanding how important this occasion was and for making such a beautiful impression on everyone! Y'all are awesome!!! read more

My fiancé and I planned an elopement on the riverwalk. They were able to put together a beautiful full size bridal bouquet and boutonniere and have it delivered to our hotel in three days notice. They were beautifully arranged with plenty of roses which surprised me because it was all for less than the nearest florist was going to charge just for the bouquet!!! These guys love flowers and the happiness they bring!!! Thank you for making my day stress-free and beautiful!!!! read more

Hired Kevin to do my wedding on October 13, 2018 at Rio Plaza. We couldn't have been happier with how the centerpieces turned out. My bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets were also beautiful. I'm still shocked at how he was able to do everything within our budget. Just still amazed with how everything turned out. This was our first time to use Riverwalk Floral Designs but it definitely won't be the last. Thanks again for everything you did. read more

I contacted Riverwalk Floral Design "cold turkey" because they were located so close to my wedding venue. In a addition to my bridal bouquet I ordered only a limited amount of flowers due to my strict budget. Despite the budget, and being a stranger from out of town, I felt like I was treated like family. I sent a photo of my dream bouquet to Kevin and he went above and beyond to give me exactly what I wanted (even better, actually). He also did a beautiful job with the boutineers and my daughters' flower girl baskets. Everything was lovelier than anticipated. And although I had to make arrangements via phone and email, I felt very comfortable throughout the process that all was being taken care of. That peace of mind was priceless. Professional, compassionate, kind and very talented. And very reasonably priced as well. I would recommend this florist to anyone! read more

Needed flowers delivered for my anniversary. Would have to be delivered to my hotel room on the River Walk. The people at Marriot recommended them and for good reason. Rick was very helpful, made good suggestions and put together a great bouquet which balanced fragrance and beauty just the right size for the room. They are very familiar with the hotels and know just what to do. read more

Very disappointing experience. Ordered deluxe assortment of purple tulips one week before Valentine's Day. I was assured that because I ordered early that the delivery would be in the morning on Valentine's Day. The tulips didn't arrive in the morning. I called the florist to check on the order. Tulips were finally delivered at 2pm. The picture on the website included 20 tulips for the deluxe arrangement plus a ribbon bow. What arrived were only10 tulips and no bow. Will never use this florist again. read more

I ordered two centerpieces from The Woodlands (Houston) for my grandmother's 90th birthday celebration in San Antonio a week later. I couldn't have been more pleased with the results! The ordering process was very clear and efficient. The arrangements were ready on time and looked freshly made. Most of all, though, this florist went above-and-beyond and added extra little touches to make two gorgeous centerpieces which only added more to this very special occasion. Wonderful value for the money and tremendous customer service. Thank you, Riverwalk Floral Designs. read more

I ordered flowers at 4 PM and they were delivered before 6 PM the same day. I spoke to Kevin who was helpful and pleasant in the phone! We will order flowers from Riverwalk Floral Designs again in the future! Thank you!! read more
