Absolutely amazing service. I spoke with Julio over the phone, shared my price point, colors I wanted included and even requested to have a look before it was delivered. Such an easy process, so so accommodating, and really took the time to create exactly what I had in mind and have it delivered same day! I will definitely be bringing all of my business to Oakleaf Florist. Thank you so much, Julio! read more

I have used Oakleaf 3 times to send flowers to loved ones in San Antonio. Each time, they have made beautiful arrangements that have thrilled the recipients. Not living in the area myself, I wasn't sure when I ordered from them the first time if this was a good choice. It was! I gave it a 2nd try and it still was. Third time, same! My loved ones sent pictures of what had been delivered and it matched or exceeded the picture on the website. Flowers are not an inexpensive gift, but the reactions of the recipients and the confidence in Oakleaf to prepare the gift as advertised (or better) will keep me coming back. read more

I had been looking for the perfect bouquet for my wedding last month, something simple yet elegant. What I received exceeded my expectations, although I had hoped for a bit more color. I should have communicated that clearly, though. The customer service was exceptional, but do keep in mind that they close at 4 during the week. The day before my wedding, I arrived at 4:20 to pick up my bouquet, not realizing they were closed. Thankfully, there was a number for emergencies, and when I called, the owner kindly met me to provide the bouquet. She was incredibly gracious and understanding, showing no signs of inconvenience as she helped me during after-hours. I am so grateful for you. THANK YOU! Your service was wonderful. read more

I've ordered with this florist for years and recently placed an order in April for Mother's Day... The order as all my orders have been in the past was well over $100 in flowers... Not only did they miss the delivery day, they put the burden on my 86 year old mother to adjust her schedule and be available for the next day... At no time did they call me and inform me of their missed delivery.... They instead blamed my 86 year old mother for not being home when I'm fact their delivery person did not have the apartment number... They didn't even try to leave with the apartment complex management office.... Their customer service approach was horrible especially for someone who has spent hundreds of dollars with them over many years not to mention my mother being in tears because she felt as though she did something wrong DON'T SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!!! read more

Online ordering was a piece of cake! Quick and easy options. I live in Hawaii and wanted to support local San Antonio business to order and have flowers delivered to my mom in Live Oak. I ordered Sunday night and they were at her house mid-day Monday! So fast! Way faster than 1-800-Flowers and they were beautiful! I chose a basic design but you could upgrade several ways. I was also able to type up a personal message in Spanish and they printed it nicely for her. Perfect business management during these COVID19 times. read more

A little pricey, but delivery was quick as requested. I did request however, roses that were still not bloomed so that would last a bit longer, I was told that they were "still closed". Upon viewing the roses when my wife brought them home that same day; they were fully bloomed. They Wiley & died only a couple days later. I was disappointed in the quality of the roses. The service was good though, so I'll leave two stars. ***I was contacted by oak leaf florist at a later time & they made it right, beautiful flowers. Definitely recommend, five stars for sure. Sending flowers can be tricky from far away and I wanted to use a smaller local company. Oak leaf florist did not disappoint. Great communication, fast delivery and absolutely beautiful flowers that made my daughter-in-law's day. You can tell the arrangement was thought out and not just some flowers thrown in a vase. This florist is the REAL DEAL - I had a great experience with them after a well known SA florist took my money and failed on all levels. I live out of the area and had to order flowers over the phone - Oakleaf helped me customize an arrangement that was so beautiful I barely recognized it when I saw it - it far exceeded my expectations right down to the vase! I received order and delivery confirmations - something the other florist did not do. This was my first order with Oakleaf and it won't be the last. I'll also add my Niece trusted Oakleaf with her wedding flowers and they helped make the day one to remember. read more

OakLeaf Florist did a great job. Tammy captured exactly what we wanted to do and took care of arranging and maximizing the decore. We had a last minute weather related change to move the ceremony indoors. They ingeniously moved decore around to incorporate greenery from reception area, genius! The price was very reasonable and they worked with some items we wanted to incorporate. Very pleased. read more

I use Yelp to select merchants everywhere. Absolutely delighted with the first rate service and products from the ladies at Oakleaf Florist. Order taken promptly, she had some great recommendations. Not an hour and a half later, the delivery was completed nearby. My aunts were amazed at the outstanding flowers and dish garden. Said the deliverer had some suggestions on what to do after the garden outgrew it's basket. Thank you so much for incredible service! read more

I heard some good things about this place and I must say definitely believe the hype. I ordered an arrangement for delivery on Valentine's Day and could not be happier with the service. They took my simple request of white hydrangea with red roses and turned it into something really beautiful. They added extra details I didn't even think of, which shows their experience and expertise. The recipient got many compliments on the flowers and a few said they were the prettiest ones delivered that day. I was also pleased at how wide their range is for delivery as my arrangement needed to get delivered all the way out in Stone Oak. Above all, the price was great. I spent $92 which included taxes and delivery fee. In my opinion, that is a great deal for the size of the arrangement and the distance traveled for delivery. Overall, I will be using this business more often. read more

I contacted Oakleaf Florist via email just a few weeks before my wedding. Despite being very busy with prom and wedding season, they were able to accommodate me on short notice. My overall experience was great. We had the wedding for my sister-in-law in San Antonio last month. We are from out of town and we decided to use Oakleaf after reviewing online all the options we have for weddings. Julio did the best of all the vendors we used for the wedding. He advised us with what was best for the wedding and for our budget in all time. He never pretended to gave us something that we didn't need and that very common in weddings, he always advises us to make the best decisions. The day of the wedding was supposed to rain and he call the venue to make sure of the changes we need to make. We didn't need to be worried about the flowers in no time. Every were perfect and on time in the venue. For sure I'm very happy to use Oakleaf Florist for this wedding. read more

I work in the bridal industry, and when I was planning my wedding I was told by my boss (who has been in the industry for 25+ years) that Oakleaf was the way to go. I had already made up my mind that I was going to go with HEB Blooms, but thought what the heck, I'll go talk to them and give them a chance. When I went in to interview with Julio he was so professional and so helpful, not to mention friendly. We sat down and I was very honest with him about my lower than average budget. He talked to me about my options without making me feel uncomfortable or pressuring me into something I couldn't afford, and within a few minutes of discussion had put together an arrangement for me to see. I was over the moon! His work is beautiful and he understood my vision perfectly! Plus, HEB Blooms was, in the end, going to be much more expensive for something I wasn't nearly as in love with. When I went in to pay off my balance before the wedding, I went in without an appointment (months later) and he immediately recognized and genuinely remembered me, which made me feel valued, and like I was in excellent hands. He helped set up the arch for my wedding, and when I was doing a final walkthrough before the ceremony I could see him setting everything up so nicely, it made me feel excited instead of anxious! Without a shadow of a doubt, Julio was my FAVORITE vendor. He's the kind of nice person who made me feel good about giving him my money (which is saying a lot when you have an entire wedding to pay for). I recommend him to all of my brides, and I recommend him to anyone reading this review. He (and oakleaf) will make your floral dreams come true!! read more
