It's actually depressing to walk through the Merritt Square Mall these days and I choose not to visit this mall anymore unless they have a store inside that I must visit. I don't think that this mall has much of a selection at all anymore and the value provided to customers by this mall is none existent. The customer service is still friendly here.

Fast forward 12 years later, and this place has grown a lot... there is even an H&M!!! of course that now that I live in SFlo, this mall is small, but but but, the one store they have and has been there for years is "Standard Collective" and it is simply the best thing since sliced bread. Here, you can find everything your fashionable and boho heart desires, as well as unique pieces. I overall love this mall because it has all the department stores you nee (macy's, Dillards, Jc Penny) as well as a decent food court and other clothing stores.

I came last weekend to bring my baby niece for a little birthday shopping and it was awkward because she's too young to even know how terrible the mall truly was. They need a TOTAL revamp or just close it down altogether. Space is better suit for a park or some restaurants. I even tried to get my niece's ears pierced at a jewelry kiosk that does piercings, but the lady working there said that she was unable to because she already packed up everything. lol what?! Mind you, this was two hours before closing time. Pretty much that was the attitude for a lot of the stores there. All closing an hour or two before actual closing time. No wonder the place is broke.

The Mall of Millenia falls comfortably in that category. While it is a mall that offers more higher-end shopping experiences, it still has a handful of affordable fashion retailers as well as numerous restaurants and eateries that can cater to just about anyone. Parking is ample - even on BUSY, sale days or holidays. They are home to local favorites like the Apple Store - which is always BUSY no matter the day or time. They are home to the Cheesecake Factory, The Capitol Grille, Earl's Kitchen, P.F. Changs, among other restaurants and eateries. They have, at a minimum, three Starbucks for the Starbucks fanatics. They have numerous notable department stores like Macy's and Bloomingdale's (both at opposing ends). And of course, they house Gucci, Marc Jacobs, YSL, just to name a few of the many luxury brands they have to offer. They have H&M, Urban Outfitters, Aldo, Warby Parker, and just SO MANY places to name. They will also be home to one of my favorite stores, Zara, soon enough - which I cannot wait for. I tend to frequent this mall in the evening to avoid some of the daytime crowds. Staff, from store to store, varies, but for the MOST part, they have been helpful and kind. Some of the higher-end stores do not give you weird vibes when you walk in to just look around - which is always a good thing. There's nothing worse than feeling like you are unwanted in a store. On busy days, the check-out lines can get long depending on the store you are in. However, most of the time, they are staffed well, and you are in and out. All in all, this is a pretty good mall. Did I mention, they have a small postal service area on the ground floor if you need to mail/ship out anything. I really do not have any negative experiences that turned me away from this mall as a whole. Now I've had some negative experiences with staff in certain stores, but again, those moments have been so few and far between. I will continue to patronize this mall. Also, it's pretty close to home - so it is convenient. P.S. I do miss when they were home to Crate & Barrel - it was one of my favorite stores for home décor. However, they left many, many moons ago.

She admitted that it came from a frozen box, but insisted because the cook "smashed" the patty when it was cooking it, that's still a smash burger. She told me they have their way and I can do my way at home. I thought her response was beyond rude. She handled it extremely unprofessionally instead of actually considering the communication and feedback from a customer. They shouldn't even sell burgers honestly. And I really don't know why they go through the extra to even make that when they have all this other hot food available and ready the other burger place across from them is way better if you're actually craving a burger. The ONLY saving grace is that their cream cheese rangoons are actually pretty good! But! They don't serve them with any sweet and sour sauce!!! WTH?!
