They've come for complaints as small as loud music, to a trespasser having a manic episode. I'm thoroughly impressed. Every interaction they were polite and sharp. I've seen their AERO outreach team at circle K making welfare checks on the homeless population. I can't praise this department enough. I'm sure people have had bad experiences, but for me and my family, Hemet PD has had our back 100%.

The lady volunteer told me it's a civil issue and then proceeds to give me a list of places to go to. Each place told me they don't do that there and that the Hemet officers need to stop referring people to them. I went back and was given another paper with another address and number which was also no help. Waste of my time. Disgrace to the force and community. They only care if money can be made. The supervisor I spoke with was argumentative, dismissive, and did not appear interested in hearing both sides of the situation before forming a conclusion. During our conversation, I expressed concern about her tone and communication style, as I also have supervisory experience and understand the importance of professionalism when dealing with the public. Instead of addressing my concerns, she repeatedly talked over me, prevented me from fully explaining the situation, and ultimately ended the call by hanging up on me. I found this behavior unprofessional and unacceptable for someone in a supervisory position. I am requesting that this interaction be reviewed and that appropriate action be taken.

The staff member who answered refused to provide an email address, would not take down the information, and was dismissive. When I asked to file a complaint, she hung up on me. I called again and was told I needed to go through dispatch, but was routed back to the front desk. I ultimately located an email online and I hope that it will be properly received and reviewed. This has given me a clear indicator on how people are missing and slip through the cracks and the part law enforcement plays. After recent cases with Emmanual and Celeste I'd think PD would be taking these claims a little more serious. (Incident #I252590042) In summary: I do not believe she has been located, and I believe her mother has given false and conflicting information to both her friends and law enforcement. I urge that this matter be taken seriously and that follow-up action with proof of life be considered .

Shoutout to Lala and her bestie at the front desk, these ladies were lightning fast…read moreand were answering questions while people were waiting in line to reduce the traffic of people. The staff handled people's needs immediately. I was in line when Lala approached me and she saw me to one of the clerks. I explained I had an issue with my insurance and they gave me peace of mind by the time I left. I was also happy with the vibes of the building, people seemed to be in a good mood. The waiting room wasn't crowded and they had a good flow of people coming in and out. I never felt claustrophobic. Also, there were NO smells today which I certainly appreciated. Note, if you need to submit documents there's a couple of kiosks when you walk in. These are for you to scan your paperwork so you can skip the line. An attendant is usually near the kiosk to assist people.

I really appreciate when we both are working together. The social worker that we last had actually seemed nicer than the one that came as her substitute. She loves it. I don't know why lol There's lots of drugs and crime in the city of Hemet. Be careful coming around here at night. I go to Hemet to visit my grandma, and that's about it. There isn't much available in Hemet, and this public library is a good resource for child-friendly…read moreprogramming on Wednesdays. I can't speak to any of the other resources as I haven't used them. However, the way the staff treat the people in the library leaves a lot to be desired, hence my 2-star review. Although the publicly posted hours state they close at 6 pm, beginning at 5:30 pm, there is an aggressive push to get everyone out of the library, with constant announcements over the loudspeaker, security guard patrolling the study areas, and the librarians also coming around and reminding everyone to leave by 5:45 pm. At 5:35 pm, I was told that if I didn't leave by 5:45 pm I would be locked in the library with my child overnight. I stated the library closes at 6 pm, and we will be gone well before that time. At 5:55 pm, as we were leaving, the security guard and the librarian came over to tell us we were there past closing. They definitely scared my child into thinking that would happen. Woof. The overbearing staff is a bit much. But if anyone is down for a sleepover in the library, it's me!!
