What gloriously sunny day in Costa del Cork, made even more memorable by a visit to the beautiful Crosshaven which looks more like 'Puerto Banus' with all the yachts and boats on the bay. If you are lucky enough to visit this town, make sure you drop into the Rivers End Cafe perched right on the edge of the river as the name suggests. It's a really lovely cosy cafe style spot, decoated in a nautical theme, with tables and chairs set outside on a lovely day like this. Food is really good as it's freshly prepared, but be warned as you ay have to wait a little while for service as they are so busy. They serve breakfast until late morning and a huge selection of delicious homemade cakes pastries and scones which are impossible to resist, not to mention a whole range of sandwiches, wraps and panini - served with a light salad. Lovely friendly staff, eager to help and make you feel welcome and wanted! Would highly recommend this spotlessly clean cafe in one of the most beautiful settings to be found around Ireland. read more
