Cute cafe we found! Sat in the back covered, outdoor area. We all loved everything we ate. Open smoked salmon sandwich with avocado, Beef melt (spicy), and coronation chicken wrap! Recommend it all!

Amazing place to read a book and the manager here was super helpful in accommodating my allergies. I wanted a simple cup of coffee and after being rejected by numerous cafes, the manager helped me find something that works, made it himself, and then let me use the milk carton to pour milk in my coffee. He went above and beyond what was necessary and it was greatly appreciated

Now I'm not religious but the Lemon Leaf Cafe made me throw my hands up and sing Hallelujah in this, the Church of Breakfast! The boy and I had been up since 3:30am for our early flight to Cork and by 8:30 were in desperate need of feeding. We drove straight to Kinsale from the airport and immediately found the Lemon Leaf Cafe amongst the maze of little streets. It looked lovely from the outside and boasted a decent breakfast menu so we went straight in to be greeted by friendly faces and quickly sorted out with a pot of tea. The boy opted for a hearty bowl of porridge followed by a cheese, ham and mushroom omelette while I dived right in with a full Irish breakfast (well, 'When in Rome (Cork)') You certainly can taste the difference between fresh produce and our supermarket malarkey back home. I was served up a plate of heaven - thick cut bacon, juicy pork sausages, black and white pudding, mushrooms, the freshest eggs with unbelievably yellow yolks and two slices of thick, fresh white toast. Himself was equally delighted with his hot porridge which came with a little bowl of dried fruit to mix in, and his omelette was off-the-scale. Their eggs must be laid by the goddess of all hens. All in all we left full, warmed and happy. First in a long line of great feeds while in Cork and I'm already dreaming of my future holiday home out there, close to the Clonakilty white pudding and fresh eggs! That's the life for me!

A healthy option breakfast nook on the side streets of Kinsale. Lovely little shop that's perfect for a quiet morning munch with friends or just a solid imaginary tale. If you're a brunch person, they've got you covered on that too and they even offer pick up if you're out and about walking the pets. If I could wake up every morning with the type of setting they offer at Lemon Leaf, I would quickly become a morning person.

This is a charming, surprisingly spacious cafe with great food and kind servers. My wife and I had the vegetarian breakfast and it came with plenty of food. They were able to sit all 8 in our party together, which has been a struggle in Kinsale.

Lemon Leaf serves up a mighty fine lunch, but I have to say I was a bit disappointed that their BLT doesn't come with crispy bacon like with their breakfast items. I'm as big a fan of rashers as an American can be, but a BLT calls for crispy bacon like a mother eagle calling to her babies as they soar out from the nest. Aside from that small snafu, this cafe shines. The front is cozy like a tea room, and the back opens up bright and airy with skylights and a small courtyard. The desserts are on display and highly decadent. They also have free, blazingly-fast wifi. (password is above the desserts)

I wish I could eat here every morning! Everything we ordered and every detail of the ambience was perfection. If you're visiting Kinsale, you must go here! The staff were lovely and so helpful. The ingredients were local, fresh, and unique. The marmalade, the jams, the pastries, everything was delectable. I love eggs Benedict and this did not disappoint in the least.

The Pantry - Back again. Still the best Full Irish going!

Great food, great service, great owner! Excellent mini…read moreIrish, and they let me customize it!!

"THE BEST FULL IRISH IN THE COUNTRY!!!!"…read more 5 Stars. Five. If I could give more I would. If you love breakfast, you need to take a trip to Midleton, Co Cork. At The Pantry, you'll be served what can only be described as The most serious contender for BEST FULL IRISH IN THE COUNTRY!!!! This is not something I take lightly. I have enjoyed far too many a Full Irish's up and down our fair island...and I'm not joking - SO MANY breakfasts. But never have been inspired to put my feelings about any meal in writing...nevermind post them online. Until now. I first wandered into The Pantry just over a year ago looking for a breakfast...we were met a smile and welcome from Gordon who runs the show. He was quick to find us a comfortable table with plenty space for our buggy (a high chair was available but we didn't need it) and to bring us some tea and coffee (both great by the way). We each ordered the Full Irish. Breakfasts are cooked to order and service is efficient and attentive. Food arrived in good time. Respectively, each item on each plate was cooked perfectly. Food was out of a frying pan and not a deep fryer. Each meal came with tea/coffee and toast...as it should do. We got to speak with Gordon after our meal. He told us about his experience running the The Pantry, about how they bake their own bread daily, about all the different local suppliers..for the sausages, for the bacon, for the pudding, etc. The Pantry is a bright and welcoming cafe/bistro serving a tempting variety of foods throughout the day. Go for a coffee and a cake of go for The BEST FULL IRISH you're ever likely to be served...go for the welcome alone...just go. FIVE STARS. 5! Following that, and in the interest of a fair and impartial review, I should mention the negatives: Each time I visit, I can't help but be reminded of the fact that I live 161 and a half miles away (260km)...and I can never help but think about how long it might be before I'll be able to get another breakfast here. That's me. That's my review. Cheers Gordo. You're the man.
