Review coming from the best man of August 6th wedding. Very unprofessional work place environment by both the owners of this place. There was lack of communication from the owners. They need to do better. They did not help one bit when preparing to set up the day before the wedding. Bob who is a angry unprofessional man, came out of his house screaming/yelling at a teenage boy while throwing a his hands in the air. As the teenage boy was driving the golf cart down the hill to the river in preparation for the wedding. As we agreed, it was okay for us drive the golf cart down the hill, as we were preparing for the brides grandfather to walk her down the Aisle. Golf cart was agreement because the brides grandfather is not fully suited to be walking down a steep hill. It is no way to talk to any guest the day before the wedding, even if the boy was in the wrong. In which he was not. It was very hostile and just plain embarrassing. Stay away from this place. Stay away from Bob and Tanya. They are very unkind and just plain creepy. They do not smile. They stare at all the guests while creeping through the windows. Spend your money elsewhere!!!! Literally run. The place is beautiful, but the host and her husband are so disrespectful, rude and hostile. I left a review on google and the host replied trying to argue knowingly I cannot reply back. The host was shadowing over everything on the wedding day and during the ceremony snooped through the suit the bride and bridesmaids got ready in and got caught by my girlfriend who took my children inside so they could cool off and to change my sons diaper and then proceeded to yell at her for them being in there. Which sure, fine if the contract states no one else expect who's on the piece of paper is allowed to be in there, but I mean she could have had some grace in her heart seeing two little kids in there as it was pretty hot that day and one of the children was two and needed a diaper change. Had she been nicer to my girlfriend, my girlfriend would have been a little nicer back to her. Remember, you get what you give. She also stated that my girlfriend was in the room before she went in there, which is not true. My girlfriend had walked in on her in our room looking around. She was also following us on her golf cart, threatened to shut down the wedding over wine bottles in the bridal suit (which was exactly what the bartender had told us) and etc. I can't say what was in the grooms suit as I didn't go in there but us as the bride and bridesmaids we ONLY had wine, which again is common on wedding days as we get ready, right? The bartender was also very uncomfortable having to go into the suits to grab the alcohol because again that's not a typical thing she ever has to do and is invading peoples personal safe and privacy. Now time to get into the creepy factor. We noticed a camera (ILLEGAL), nothing states in the contract there's cameras in the room which even then it's illegal to have cameras ANYWHERE in a bathroom or bedroom of a place you're hosting (& yes we have looked this up to confirm it). When the groom called and confronted the host about the camera she ended up telling on herself about a camera my girlfriend and I had not noticed. The camera we noticed was apart of a smart device that looks like a Tempo. The camera the host ended up talking about was in a closet that only have a string around the handles and a sticky note on the door that said "do not open." One of my questions is, why even have a closet in a room and then not let it be usable for guests? And then to have a security camera in it? To be able to spy on guests? HOW CREEPY!! Bride here from wedding of AUGUST 6th 1. We picked Exclusive package - which entails the groom/bride staying from 8/5-8/7, we had the entire day before the wedding for set up, and we also had somewhere to stay on the wedding night. There were numerous complications. First thing that happens the day of rehearsal, (In the contract we were promised golf cart usage for chairs/tables) also use for my disabled grandpa. I was confronted first by a couple of guests saying that our wedding was going to be shut down due to the fact that the golf cart was being used to bring down the chairs to the ceremony area. Confused by this - I was then explained to, that a "new trail" has been built so that the slope of the hill didn't get ruined, understandable - But the way the situation was handled was completely unprofessional, Bob screamed at my fiancé & my little brother for doing so & almost cancelled it over that? 2. No wifi in our room that we stayed in the night prior of going to bed. 3. First thing morning of the wedding: we're greeted by Tanya, "sorry guys, the grooms cabin is no longer available as of this morning". More confusion. We have conversated about this 'grooms cabin' being built since we toured the venue last year. I had emailed Tanya one week before the venue to ensure that the cabin was able to be used by my fiancé & his wedding party and she confirmed that it was finished, we had the option between the smaller bedroom and the cabin. fiancés mom spent hundreds on decor to surprise him, just to be told the morning of, it was no longer an option. Then proceeds to tell us the reason was they did not have a permit & apparently built passed their property line so it actually wasnt theirs. Don't make promises and make last minute changes the day of someone's wedding and not expect us to have the greatest expectations to what's to come next from these people. 4. Approached again after the ceremony by some of my wedding party about how the host chose to take the time during the ceremony to go snoop through all our personal belongings. Was then told that Tanya screamed at my bartender and demanded that she go retrieve all the alcohol that was in the rooms, the bartender refused as she felt very uncomfortable and defintiely let me know she will never be hosting for river edge again and how unprofessional she found them to be, my wedding party took care of getting the alcohol out of the rooms/giving to the bartender to make Tanya happy, and keep the bartender where I was paying her to be. Again was told that my wedding was almost shut down due to this. 5. Was told that 2 toddlers (of my WEDDING PARTY) were not allowed to be in my bridal suite when they needed to be changed. Idk why they would expect the porta-potties to be an option. 6. Was told that Tanya yelled at the caterer to move their vehicle (when they were only suppose to be their for a brief time - so needed to park as close as possible to just drop off the food for us.) 7. Was approached by Tanya @ 8pm reminding me that the bridal suite was to be cleaned & have everything was to be out by 9pm, I still needed to cut cake, sign our certificate, listen to a "special song" that was made and in that moment felt so much frustration that I was being rushed to hurry my wedding up. my wedding party helped & got the stuff 8. Golf cart keys taken away my grandpa couldn't get to the car @ the end of night 9. CAMERAS IN BRIDAL SUITE?? WTF 10. We left on wedding night, won't refund a thing. read more

If you are looking for a wedding venue in the granite falls area do NOT book with RIVERS EDGE in granite falls! My sister booked with them way before we ever got put on lockdown paying $5k for the venue and now that all weddings got cancelled she asked the lady for a refund since covid cancelled weddings and the lady won't refund her saying in the contract she does not get a refund when she cancels she did NOT cancel it was the governor that cancelled it and the lady said if she wants she can have a saturday or mon-Thursday next year but has to pay her new rates?! Like what the heck! This lady is money hungry and rude and won't refund nothing back even my sister talking to a lawyer did not scare her. read more

What an absolutely breathtaking venue! I am SO happy I found River's Edge Wedding Venue for my wedding! The property is huge and well maintained and the River is just the most perfect touch for an outdoor wedding. We had the most beautiful ceremony right by the river (there is electrical access for sound which was a big plus) and Romantic Reception on the lawn under 2 large tents (we rented 1 additional tent). The bridal suite was fantastic and had plenty of space for the bridal party to gather before the wedding. This venue definitely creates a very intimate atmosphere, all of our guests loved the location and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Tanya (owner) was incredibly easy to work with from the start, she was so accommodating and had availability for us on short notice. She has excellent communication which I really appreciated, answered emails and text messages consistently even during late hours. She let us visit the property as many times as we needed and was flexible with all the vendors and plans that we had, she met and coordinated with our restroom trailer vendor, the tent company, and our flooring company all prior to the wedding, let us use her big barn to store many items and even helped coordinate parking on the day of (there is a LOT of parking). I wouldn't be able to do it without her help and all of her generosity. We feel very blessed to have had the opportunity to have our wedding, the most special day of our lives at River's Edge Wedding Venue. It was the best decision we made! read more

A little bit of heaven,right here in my back yard. I attended a large social gathering at this beautiful place. Undoubtedly the most wonderful time I've ever had. Lush grasses for parking. Covered area for catering. Large patio for gorgeously set tables. Grass that sloped down to the flowing river. Tanya and Bob, truly professional at making sure everyone was accommodated. I'm not an outdoor wedding type person, but this place had it all. Cool shaded seating, sunny areas if you love the sun. The crab cakes made by Scott boesrma were the best I've ever had.i live in Snohomish and this place is worth the drive from anywhere. I highly recommend this place for any type of gathering. We live in the most beautiful state, and rivers edge is a great example of all that we have to offer. 5 stars absolutely!!!! read more
